DEAR DIARY — Part 12

Dear Diary,

Oh my god, guess what? I did something completely and utterly impulsive today—I went out and got my belly button pierced! I honestly don’t know exactly what came over me or what made me do it, but I woke up this morning with this intense, undeniable urge out of nowhere, and before I could overthink it, I just went and did it. So yeah, I officially have more than just my ears pierced now. I’m a girl with a body piercing!

Surprisingly, the actual process didn’t hurt nearly as much as I had feared it would. That was honestly the scariest part for me—just the sheer anticipation and the terrifying fear of the pain. But the piercer was super professional and it was over in a flash. Right now, I have a cute little pink barbell sitting in my belly button. It looks so incredibly good, though it’s still pretty sore and a little bit swollen from the needle. The piercer walked me through all the strict aftercare instructions, explaining how to keep it clean so it doesn’t get infected. While he mentioned it will take quite a few months to fully heal from the inside out, he said I should be able to safely replace the initial starter jewelry in just a few weeks. I’m already excited and planning to buy something super sparkly—something I’ll absolutely want to show off the second I put on a bikini.

Adam came over to my apartment for dinner tonight, and when I lifted my shirt to show him, he wasn’t nearly as surprised as I thought he would be. He just had this knowing, satisfied look on his face. But even if he wasn’t shocked by the piercing itself, I don’t think he was entirely expecting me to act so impulsively on my own like I did. And looking back, I can’t say I blame him. Thinking about it now, with how submissive I’ve been feeling lately, I probably should have discussed it with him first to get his opinion before letting a stranger stick a needle in me. I was just so caught up in the sudden wave of excitement that I acted entirely without thinking.

Now that the adrenaline has worn off, I feel kind of sad and anxious that I might have upset Adam by not asking him first. Although, to be fair, he certainly seemed to really like the view. Because the area is so tender, I ended up spending the entire evening wearing a tiny cropped shirt so that heavy fabric wouldn’t rub against or irritate the fresh piercing. As we hung out, I couldn’t help but notice how Adam’s eyes kept constantly falling down to my bare stomach. His focus was completely drawn to my waist and my new little pink jewel. I absolutely loved it. He makes me feel so deeply sexy and desirable when he looks at me like that, like I’m a prize he’s iring.

Adam just left a little while ago, and the rest of our night followed our perfect pattern. He put me under into that beautiful, deep trance as he always does, and then we had the most amazing, breathless sex. Lying here in the quiet of my room, there is absolutely no doubt about it anymore: I am completely addicted to him. I genuinely can’t go more than a single day without Adam hypnotizing me or without us having sex. I honestly, truly believe I would go through severe physical and mental withdrawals if he were suddenly taken away from me.

It’s a good thing we are a team, because in exactly one month, Adam is heading off to California to begin his corporate internship. It’s crazy how fast time is flying. While he’s out there, he’ll be scouting out the area and finding a perfect place for us to live together after I finally finish up my last semester and graduate. I miss him already and he only walked out the door twenty minutes ago, but knowing he’s building our future in the sun makes everything worth it.

Dear Diary,

I had a realization today while sitting in the library: I am almost certainly the only senior student currently working on two grueling honors theses simultaneously who also happens to have a freshly pierced belly button. It’s such a funny, contradictory contrast, but honestly, I am absolutely living for it.

I ran into Rachel and Kelly on campus earlier, and they were both completely floored when I showed them the new jewelry. They practically stared at my midriff with their jaws on the floor before telling me that doing something like this was completely and totally out of character for me. They didn’t stop there, either. As we were grabbing coffee, they both itted that they think I’ve been acting really strangely lately, noting that I just haven’t been my usual, hyper-focused, tightly-wound self. I just laughed it off and changed the subject. I haven’t told either of them a single thing about my nightly hypnosis sessions with Adam—that is a sacred secret just between him and me—but internally, I know they’re right. My new behavior, my relaxed attitude, and this sudden urge to decorate my body are all directly related to him and the suggestions he leaves in my mind. But honestly? Deep down, I am actually quite happy with the change. The old me was miserable. This new version of me feels incredible.

Of course, not everyone on campus was as polite as my friends. During my afternoon seminar, I purposefully wore a slightly shorter top, and a couple of my older professors definitely gave me some lingering, highly disapproving looks when they noticed the flash of pink metal at my waist. It’s funny how conservative academia can be. But you know what? I am easily one of the hardest-working, top-performing students in their entire department, so they can’t really say a single word to me about my appearance. My grades and my research speak for themselves, even if I’m showing a little skin.

On the bright side, Kimberly actually noticed it in the hallway and gave me a huge compliment on the piercing! It’s funny how my perspective on people is shifting lately. If you had asked me at the beginning of the school year, I would have told you that Kimberly completely annoyed me. I used to think she was incredibly silly, shallow, and just plain stupid because she didn’t take her studies seriously. But lately, as my own sharp edges have been smoothing out, I’m starting to realize she’s actually quite sweet and nice to be around. Even if her incredibly high-pitched, bubbly voice is still a tiny bit annoying to listen to for long periods of time, she has a good heart. I think the old me was just way too quick to judge girls who embraced their feminine side.

Lately, I’ve been entirely embracing that side myself. Even though it is absolutely freezing outside right now because it’s the dead of winter, I have been purposely wearing crop tops, tiny cardigans, or t-shirts that are just a little bit too short, all so I can proudly show off my new belly button ring. My stomach gets a little chilly walking between buildings, but the slight draft is completely worth it because looking down and seeing that little sparkle makes me feel so unbelievably beautiful, confident, and sexy. I love the way people look at me now.

I swear, I can’t wait for summer to finally get here. The winter weather is getting old, and I am just so ready for the warmth. More than anything, I am just counting down the days and really, truly hoping that everything goes smoothly so I can pack up my life and move out to California with Adam. The thought of walking down a sunny beach, holding his hand, wearing a tiny bikini with my pierced belly on display... it feels like a dream.

Hypnosis Experiment Log

The velocity of Jessica’s transformation over the past several weeks has been nothing short of spectacular. Every metric of psychological compliance I have established is holding firm, and her physical aesthetic is shifting beautifully toward the ultimate vision I have mapped out for her.

I am particularly thrilled with her latest spontaneous addition. When she showed me her new belly-button piercing the other night, I had to actively mask my absolute delight. The small, pink barbell nestled in her navel is the perfect punctuation mark to her changing physique. Combined with the bright, platinum blonde hair we integrated last month, she is finally starting to exude that classic, hyper-feminine, bimbo look that I fully intend for her to keep as a permanent baseline. Watching her walk around her apartment in cropped shirts, blissfully unaware that her sudden “impulsive” urge to pierce her body was entirely engineered by my subconscious prompts, provides an unparalleled sense of satisfaction.

Despite this heavy aesthetic drift, I am pleased to note that she continues to navigate the grueling workload of her two honors theses with textbook efficiency. I have made a conscious, strategic decision to leave her raw intellect completely untouched and unhampered for the time being. It is absolutely vital that she graduates at the top of her class without any institutional friction or sudden drops in her GPA. I want her to walk across that stage and claim her degree flawlessly.

Now that her academic final lap is securely on autopilot and her body conditioning has become a routine part of her week, I am ready to introduce the next major phase of her psychological restructuring. In the coming weeks, I intend to focus heavily on amplifying her overt femininity and altering her relationship with self-image.

Specifically, I want to implant a powerful subconscious drive for Jessica to spend significantly more time, effort, and money on her cosmetic presentation. I want her to become deeply invested in the artistry of makeup, skincare, and elaborate hair styling. The goal here is not merely to have her look pretty for special occasions; I want an obsession with her physical appearance to blossom into a genuine, ingrained personality trait. I want her waking mind to derive a powerful, dopamine-driven sense of security and identity from being meticulously dolled up at all hours of the day.

Introducing this specific trait will require a high degree of subtlety and precision. The old Jessica—the rigid, hyper-rational academic who scoffed at girls like Kimberly—retained a lot of internal pride regarding her “low-maintenance” lifestyle. If I introduce a suggestion that feels too jarringly superficial too quickly, her residual conscious ego might flag it as an alien intrusion and reject the programming entirely.

To by this potential resistance, I will structure the hypnotic suggestions around the concept of self-worth and sensory reward. During our sessions this week, I will tie the act of sitting at a vanity, applying lipstick, and styling her blonde locks to a profound feeling of emotional safety and intoxicating confidence. I will teach her subconscious that her beauty is an armor, and that perfect makeup is the ultimate expression of her new, relaxed, and happy life. I will subtly layer the suggestions so that she begins to feel a mild, restless dissatisfaction whenever she looks in the mirror and sees a bare, unadorned face.

It will certainly not be an easy needle to thread, but the sheer complexity of the psychological engineering is precisely what makes this project so incredibly exciting for me. I am sitting in the director’s chair, watching the woman I met in a dusty university library systematically dissolve to make way for a masterpiece. Day by day, suggestion by suggestion, I get to witness her gradually emerge from her old, drab, intellectual shell like a brilliant, hyper-feminine butterfly finally ready to take flight.

Adam Peers
Dear Diary,

I am writing this completely out of breath, and honestly, I am still trying to process how my morning completely spiraled out of control. Anyone who knows me knows that I am usually always early or right on time for absolutely everything. I pride myself on being punctual, especially when it comes to my morning seminars. But this morning? I don’t know what on earth came over me, but I spent what felt like an eternity just standing in front of my closet, completely paralyzed by indecision.

I hesitated for a ridiculously long time before choosing my outfit. It wasn’t even a matter of just finding something clean; I felt this intense, overwhelming desire to put together the absolute perfect look for the day. I wanted everything to coordinate flawlessly, to look incredibly cute, and to really show off my figure and my new piercing. By the time I finally picked out a cropped sweater and a skirt, the clock was already ticking down, and I was dangerously close to being late.

But the real disaster struck when I ran to the bathroom to quickly brush my teeth. I looked in the mirror, and my heart practically stopped. Right there, on the side of my face, was this hideous, angry red spot. It felt like a total nightmare. Even though my conscious brain knew I was already late for class, a deeper, louder part of me screamed that I absolutely could not leave the apartment looking like that. The thought of walking into a lecture hall with a flawed face made me feel incredibly anxious.

In a total panic, I started digging through my vanity drawers until I found a dusty, half-used bottle of old foundation that I had lying around. Normally, I only ever touch makeup for special occasions or date nights with Adam, but today, putting it on felt like a matter of absolute survival. I hurriedly tried to blend it over the spot to cover the redness.

Once I stepped back, I realized the result wasn’t great. The coverage was patchy, and the shade didn’t perfectly match my skin tone anymore. It made me realize that I really need to look into other foundations that exist on the market right now, because this old drugstore one is definitely not the best. I think I might have to stop by a cosmetics counter or watch some tutorials this weekend to find a high-quality product that actually gives me a flawless finish.

By the time I finally sprinted out the door, I was hopelessly late. It was so incredibly annoying and embarrassing to walk into class after the professor had already started speaking. I felt everyone’s eyes on me, which made me blush furiously. I quickly apologized to the professor, making up a little white lie about having some unexpected transportation problems with the campus shuttle. Thankfully, he just nodded and let me take my seat.

I really, truly hope this does not happen again. I cannot afford to let my grades slip over wardrobe and mirror panics. Still, as I sit here looking at my reflection in the library, I’m glad I took the time to cover that spot. I just feel so much better when I look pretty.

Love,
Jessica
