Trancifier

By Cara B. Witching

I let out a soft sigh, watching my breath freeze in the cool night air before me, while leaning against the side of my parked car. Pulling a small pink filer from my pocket, I begin to touch up my nails, occasionally glancing towards the sketchy looking carnival off in the distance.

The lights were dimmed, giving it a dark and gloomy appearance, while a cold, shadowy fog spread across the fairground. I could make out the shapes of a big top tent, various different attractions, and multiple roller coasters that spiraled up into the air, but it was almost impossible to see them clearly through the black obscurity.

I hadn’t paid much attention to the attractions a few days prior, when I’d stashed my cut from our latest heist somewhere in the dead and lifeless fairground.

The place looked more than deserted, so I had to give you credit. This whole plan had been your idea, and so far, it’s gone off perfectly. We didn’t get a chance to count everything we stole, but my guess was there had to be at least half a million in unmarked bills, hidden away deep within the dark carnival, waiting for the both of us.

And now that the heat has finally died down, it was time to retrieve our winnings and start our new lives together.

My attention is pulled back to the road when I see the headlights of your car approaching, a smile spreading across my face as I waved to you.

You can see me wearing a sleek leather jacket around my tank top, with matching black pants and my brown hair pulled up in a ponytail. A bit of eyeshadow made my blue irises pop, and taking a long look at me in your headlights, you definitely enjoyed what you saw.

But even with my jacket, I still felt quite chilly. I couldn’t imagine wearing anything less in this wintery cold.

“Glad you finally showed up!” I pocket my nail file as I approach you with a grin, looking at the bullet holes in your car trunk.

“I was beginning to worry you might have taken my cut and left town already.” I tease.

You can’t help but smile back. It was the first time you’d seen me since the job, and you were just thrilled I was alright, and still just as pleasing to the eyes as ever.

I give you a warm hug as you exit your car, rubbing my hands together with a smile and complaining about the cold weather. You give my ponytail a light brush with your fingers, gazing down at my beaming expression.

“What, and trade this gorgeous face for it? I’d be an idiot to leave you behind.” You whisper, trailing up my nose with soft kisses.

Even with only a subtle makeup style, I still looked beautiful to you, and you lean forward to give me a warm kiss, one which I happily reciprocate.

“We’re a team now, you and I. There’s only one cut babe, and it’s ours.”

You give me a soft squeeze, listening to me giggle in your arms. We’d been pulling off small time jobs as partners for years, I can’t believe it took me this long to realize you were the one.

You dusting off your old book on hypnotism didn’t hurt matters either...

“Maybe we can find a nice motel when this is done, and warm up together?” You suggest to me with a wink, and I laugh as I feel my face blush red.

“If we find as much as you said we took, I’m gonna warm you up real nice~”

I wink back at you, giggling as I watch your own face turning slightly red at my flirtation.

You were so, so adorable. There had always been a romantic tension between us, and after crushing on each other for years, it was heaven to finally indulge our desires for one another.

“How do I look? This is my totally not a cat burglar outfit.” I give a slight pose, letting you ire the black leather on me which only served to draw attention to my soft features.

“You look gorgeous as always, Cara..”

You sigh, hearing me giggle as your eyes practically become heart shaped, while taking in every beautiful inch of me. You were always so impressed with how equally alluring I could be both in and out of my clothes.

“Oh, if only that were true. I’d be a model instead of a thief.” I laugh, giving my hair a flick. You smirk, thinking that my smile could illuminate the night brighter than any lantern could.

So far, the most valuable thing I’d ever stolen was your heart.

“You brought the thing, right?”

I ask, and you give my hair a playful ruffle before turning back around to face your car. You make your way to the trunk, unlocking it before retrieving a pair of metal fence pliers.

I watch with a grin as you start to cut around a large gate, carving out a small entrance for us.

As we slowly made our way inside the fairground, I kept my eyes peeled to make sure nobody else was here. The only other person in a twenty yard radius was just some local security guard, and the last thing we needed was that dipshit screwing up our plans for early retirement.

“Do they really use this place every Fourth? It looks like a dump.” I whisper to you, keeping my voice as low as possible.

You face me with a grin, wrapping your arm around me and leading me deeper into the dark, misty carnival, waving the fog from your face every now and then.

“Every Fourth and Labor Day. What did I tell you, the perfect place to hide our future while the heat dies down.”

Your eyes trail up to the full moon in the night sky. It’s lantern helped to illuminate our path, but not much. As we quietly by a stand filled with stuffed animals, you can’t help but think about snatching one for me.

“Yeah, well, thats still yet to be confirmed you know.” I cross my arms, feeling you grip me tighter.

“I’m not exactly comfortable hiding our ‘future’ in a place that reeks of corndogs and cat piss.”

You give a small, quiet laugh, as we tip toe down a set of wooden stairs. I thought I would feel creeped out in a place like this at night, but I actually found the solemn view quite relaxing, and even a bit romantic.

There was almost a peaceful tranquility to the empty fairground, populated only by misty specters.

“Speaking of, I stashed mine in the acrobatics chamber, right under the floorboards. What about you?” You ask me, recalling how you’d hidden your plunder in the ground beside a few discarded aerial rings.

“Oh uh, the clownhouse, in the dressing room.” I tell you, while surveying the various different rides and attractions as we walk past them, keeping my brave face.

Crap, I had almost forgotten where I’d hidden our cash. It was quite easy for my mind to wander, and I soon return to mindlessly day dreaming about all the wonderful things I’m going to buy with my cut. But when I turn to look at you, I notice a bit of concern in your eyes.

“Did you really have to stash it in the ‘clown house’? Searching a place like that after midnight sounds like the thing you don’t do.”

There’s a bit of sternness to your voice, but I let out a laugh, placing a hand to my chest and trying my best to fight the giggles and keep quiet.

God, you were so cute. And you provided such perfect opportunities like this to tease you.

“Oh alright scaredy cat. I’ll go search the McDonald’s by myself.” I tell you with a grin, watching your eyes fill with worry. I wanted to reach out and tickle you, but who knows if that rent a cop was nearby.

“Cara...I think maybe we should stick together, just to be safe.”

I laugh at your concern, and give you a small kiss on the cheek. It was flattering to know you cared about me so much, but I knew how to handle myself.

“Come on, splitting up is what all the kids are doing these days, don’t be such a square~”

I was making quite a bit of noise now with my giggling, but I wasn’t too concerned since this place was obviously deserted, and it didn’t seem like any supposed ‘security’ was nearby. It was like standing in some post apocalyptic 60s carnival.

You sigh, feeling me grip your jacket in my hands and pull you in for a more sensual kiss.

“I’ll be fine, promise. Just go search the acrobatics place, it should be much faster this way.” I say with another laugh, feeling you kissing the dimple in my cheek.

“Babe...are you sure?”

You only just got accustomed to having me nearby again, the last thing you wanted was to see me walking away, even if it made this go quicker.

“Don’t worry, if I see Jack In The Box, I’ll just ask for a cheeseburger...Ooo or maybe some of their little tacos!”

My smile and my laughter were so infectious. You couldn’t help but love every second of seeing my beaming face, even if I wasn’t being the wisest girl at the moment.

You feel me giving your shoulders a light squeeze before I kiss you once more, quietly hoping I wasn’t making a terrible decision. You really cared deeply for me, and if anything else, you would definitely miss my kisses…

I turn around, walking away before spinning back to face you, my hands on my hips.

“Oh, and if you find anything else valuable, you’d better share it with me too!” I smirk, giving you a playful wink before running back to quickly peck your lips again.

You continue to smile back at me, iring my backside as I headed towards a sign reading ‘Clown House—Open 10am-8pm’ accompanied by a small arrow pointing off deeper into the fairground.

“Good God, does your ass look perfect in leather...”

You sigh, feeling a small jolt of excitement in your heart while you watch my bottom disappear into the fog...

* * *

The first thing I’m put off by, is how the entrance is designed. I had snuck in through one of the back windows last time, so I was a bit surprised by how off putting the front door was.

“Ugh!” I exclaim, nearly retching when I’m greeted by a clown’s face painted around a small red door, its ugly design making me want to turn and high tail it back to you. The paint had chipped away making it look like some twisted Halloween attraction, while it’s teeth surrounding the entryway were jagged like swords.

“Hope what they say about shoe size isn’t true…”

I’m beginning to second guess my brave stance, but I knew the teasing would be relentless if I returned all spooked now. With a nervous sigh, I slowly push the door open, while trying not to think about being swallowed by a clown.

“Jeez, they get Stephen King for the decor in this place?” I wonder aloud, anxiously sliding through the entryway before me with a shiver, just thankful there wasn’t another smaller door behind it.

I soon find myself stepping down a typical fun house; some stationary wheels painted with spirals, a couple of stairs built diagonally, some mirrors that made my head hurt. It was like the type of place I would have visited as a kid.

My eyes are drawn up to a small poster hanging up high in the far corner of a twisting ageway. It depicted an average, slightly older man, his face aged while his clothes were bright and colorful, resembling something a clown would wear.

Beside him was a young woman around my age, with bright orange air and clad in a pink leotard. She was seated upon a small unicycle, and seemed to have a somewhat dazed expression on her face as she peddled away.

Below the two of them reads:

‘Harry the Hypnotist & Daring Daphne’

I can feel a chuckle escaping me at how cheesy the poster was, and I smile when I notice a copyright tag in its corner showing it would have been commissioned sometime around November 1969.

“Wish I could pull that off.” I think to myself with a smirk, noting that the poor girl’s outfit looked a bit more risqué than something you’d normally see in a family setting.

Touching my chin, I begin to wonder if the vintage poster might be worth anything, but it was way too high up for me to retrieve without your help, and I resign to continue my journey deeper into the funhouse.

The sooner I found our cash, the sooner we could get out of this spooky place.

I look at my reflection in a distortion mirror as I by, before shaking my head. God those things have been giving me migraines all my life. Even as a kid, I’d always hated how dizzy they made me feel.

Every now and then I have to squint my eyes to make out where I am, but eventually I begin to recognize a few things, namely that red spiral on the wall that made me feel all weird and dazed the first time I was in here.

I soon enter a dimly lit dressing room, my eyes looking to the various brightly colored curtains before me, concealing three changing stations.

“Now....where did I hide you...” I wonder aloud, surveying them for a moment before I’m able to recall, snapping my fingers with a grin before I it was the far left.

I quickly push the swirly red curtain out of my way, my eyes scanning down the wall to a small, loose fitting board. Thankfully it doesn’t look like anyone’s touched it, I can practically taste the celebratory drinks we’ll be having later!

“Please still be there..Please still be there..” I whisper, gripping the wood in my hands, and after a few tries I’m able to yank it loose.

“Jackpot!!”

My heart soars when I see the same familiar duffle bag I’d previously hidden, and I grab it with lightning speed, my eyes opening as wide as they can when I’m greeted by nothing but fields of green inside.

“Yes! Good news, babe. Tonight, drinks are on me!”

I giggle, zipping it back closed and throwing the bag over my shoulder. I still wasn’t sure just exactly how much was inside, but it was definitely enough for us to start over somewhere.

My smile disappears when I suddenly hear a noise coming from behind the curtain on the far right. It looks like something big is moving around behind it, and I feel a cold shiver creeping up my spine.

Instantly my blood runs cold. I begin to nervously grip the bag handle across my shoulder, feeling a rush of anxiety. I really thought this place had been empty, I would have bet on it. Unless this was just an animal moving around, or a homeless person.

“B-babe...is...is that you? Babe?” My voice is meek and nervous.

My heart is pounding inside my ears as I watch the moving lump become stationary, nearly stopping inside my chest when I see the curtain being slowly pulled back…

The panic spreading through me increases when I see a large man dressed like a clown emerge, towering over me like a silly painted statue and squeezing a small horn in his hand, his face painted like a sick, demented jester.

HONK!

I jump from the noise before stepping backwards, my face going almost as pale as his.

I can feel my body freezing in place whilst anxiety rushed through my veins. I didn’t really have a fear of clowns, but it was hard not to feel petrified. My pupils shrink and my heart nearly freezes, when his bright red lips part to reveal a set of razor sharp fangs, like a row of knives.

“Oh..f-fuck...” The world goes blank for a moment as my eyes roll up into my head. I quickly steady myself, taking a gasp of breath and very nearly ing out.

“This is just like that movie...and it didn’t end well for that poor girl!!” I think to myself with a quiet whimper.

My life was starting to flash before my eyes, which flutter a bit as I try my best not to faint.

The clown only laughs at me, tucking the horn inside his bright red suit. I watch in horror as his hand moves about in his pocket, fiddling about with its contents while my blood froze completely ice cold.

“...Please don’t pull out a butcher’s knife...or a puppet with a gun...” I think, feeling tears well in my eyes.

He only continues to smirk at me with his large red painted smile. In a quick motion, he yanks a small pendant out, dangling it up in the air by his finger, letting the dim light from the room cascade across its glittering surface.

It looks like a golden coin, fastened to the end of a small string and twinkling like a beautiful star in the night sky. I’m about to call out your name, when he suddenly moves the pendant right before my face.

“Watch the pretty coin of gold, and you will do as you are told.”

I let out a gasp, feeling my eyes widen and involuntarily fixate on the sparkling coin, feeling magnetized to its glow. It was so pretty, so sparkly and mesmerizing. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t seem to pull my eyes away from it.

“Hey...What...What the hell...are...you...”

My voice trails off as my mind starts to empty. I feel an intoxicating euphoria, relaxing myself and letting the sparkling coin hypnotize me. It felt like an incredibly strong wine had just hit my system like a freight train, making me feel all weak and lazy.

I knew this couldn’t be good...but it just felt sooo good to give in…

“O-Ohhhh…”

My eyes involuntarily open as wide as they can, a perplexed expression coming over my face. Even the word resistance seemed like a concept that was impossible for me to grasp.

“Pay attention for a time, and soon your thoughts will be all mine.”

I hear his voice whisper to me again, my full undivided attention locked onto the coin as it sparkled and twirled around, fascinating and captivating my little mind.

Reluctantly, I give my face a little shake, snapping myself out of it while feeling like a warm, relaxing blanket has been ripped from me.

Was...was I just being...hypnotized??

“What you think you’re gonna...put...put me...under a...umm....a...s-spell....”

My eyelashes flutter against my cheek as I feel my gaze being drawn back to the pretty, sparkly pendant. The more I take it in, the more it becomes my whole world, the only thing I can see or focus on.

“Your thoughts all slip and fade away, you have no choice now, but to obey.”

My expression becomes completely tranquil as I give myself to the coin again, letting it sparkle and dazzle me in a most enchanting manner.

Yes...just watch it...watch and obey...

I’d never felt so happy and peaceful before, it was like an incredibly strong body high was overtaking me. Actually, it reminded me somewhat of my sessions with you...

“W-Watch the pretty...c-coin of…gold...”

I can hear myself involuntarily drone out, feeling my eyes becoming impossibly heavy. They droop and flutter, struggling to remain open, fighting to stay awake and enjoy the pretty coin.

“...And I...will do...as I-I...am.....told....”

Gosh it was so beautiful, so hypnotic. It felt so easy to just give in, and let it perplex my fragile little mind.

It might just be because of my hypnotized state, but I could swear the same sparkly glitters from the coin were beginning to dance around my face, which grew more and more dazed and relaxed by the second.

“Your eyes grow heavy, tired, and weak. You cannot resist the oncoming sleep.”

My eyelids felt heavier than lead now, the thought of keeping them open for much longer feeling like an impossible, almost Herculean task. I can’t stop them from being pulled down like heavy weights, as a soft sigh escapes me.

“Hmmmmmm…….”

I can hear the clown’s laughter as my eyes slowly close, a big, happy smile spreading across my face. My arms drop down to my sides, the black duffel bag slowly sliding down my shoulder before landing on the floor.

I was totally entranced now, completely and blissfully enthralled, another helpless victim of the clown’s hypnotic coin.

Snap!

A sharp snapping of fingers causes my head to drop forward, my smile continuing to spread across my sleeping face as I gave myself more and more to the blank mesmerism that held me.

“You are lovely as a bell, and now you’re deep under my spell.”

My only response is to let out a loud, happy sigh, gently nodding my slumped head up and down to his words while he continued to chuckle. I was completely at the clown’s twisted hypnotic mercy…

“Strip for me now, my precious dove. Your clothes slide off you, like a glove.”

I gently nod my happy, sleeping face up and down to his words once more, feeling every syllable melt into my subconscious mind. I pull my leather jacket off with a sigh, letting it fall as a bit of drool leaked down my chin.

“Yesss...Masssterrrr...I musstt...obeyyy....”

Before it even hits the ground I’m already pulling my tank top above my head, tossing it with a wide grin across my face, before reaching behind my back to unclip my bra.

As I stand before the clown completely topless, fumbling with my belt to pull my jeans down next, I can hear what sounds like a balloon inflating, accompanied by a sadistic giggling...

* * *

With my leather jacket and pants discarded on the wooden floor, I was now standing before one of the distortion mirrors. My shirt, socks, and other clothes lay in a heap atop my jacket, which itself sat beside my tropical blue bra.

I was now wearing a bright pink leotard, the same one from the poster! The fluffy tutu skirt that draped down from my hips was extremely short and transparent, offering a generous view of my legs. The top also left my chest completely exposed, while pushing my breasts upwards, making my cleavage appear much larger than it normally did.

It was definitely a costume on the sleazier side, not something you’d typically see a respectable performer wear, or myself.

I also had a generous amount of makeup applied to my face, my cheeks painted nice and rosy while the dim light reflected off my bright pink lips.

My ponytail is undone as well, my hair now flowing freely and brushed quite nicely, held in place by a small gold tiara atop my head.

I looked incredibly pretty, and even though I liked to doll myself up every now and then, this was a bit more pink and girly than I’d go for. I typically wore darker clothing, so this was quite a sharp contrast to how I’d usually look.

Right now however there isn’t a single thought in my head, as I stood at attention before the wavy mirror.

“So very perfect, is your figure. Forgive my eyes, they can’t help but linger…”

I feel a pair of gloved hands gently massaging my bare shoulders, and I suddenly realize...I felt extremely cold dressed like this. Also was this guy...rhyming? Was I really not going to give him shit for that?

Staring up at my reflection, I feel like I’m looking at some sort of warped barbie doll. My overly done up face was twisting into a spiral, which made me feel slightly nauseous...

This definitely was NOT me.

“Wait...whats...whats going on...”

My eyes blink and flutter about, feeling a pit growing in my stomach when I hear the evil clowns laughter. I’m surprised to look down and find myself dressed like a sexy ballerina, and I give my head a shake, trying to cut through the haze in my mind.

I suddenly ed that I was supposed to be retrieving our money, not playing dress up!

“Hey! Pervywise! Who do you think you are, dressing me like this!”

I shout, my eyes opening wide in horror as the clown before me reaches into his suit, pulling out the familiar sparkling coin.

“Watch the pretty coin of gold, and you will do as you are told…”

Wait a second, the last thing I could was focusing on the coin. I felt totally drawn in and mesmerized by it, and it felt so wonderful to let go…

“It’s fun to be hypnotized, turned into a fool. No choice to surrender, and be made to drool.”

I let out a small gasp, trying to pull my eyes away only to find they were totally glued to the pretty, sparkling coin.

“No, no no wait...let’s...let’s talk...about...this...”

My voice trails off as I become completely enraptured by the coin once more, it’s twirling visage being reflected in my eyes.

“I….I can…pay…you….ohhhh….”

My bright red lips slowly curl into a dopey smile as I surrender and let my mind empty.

Ahh yes...It had felt this good to submit the first time too. Being hypnotized was like an orgasm for the soul and mind.

“Dream of clear and empty skies, as you sleep and rest your tired eyes.”

My smile widens even further, dizzying little sparkles appearing around my face as I gently nod my head up and down. My mind was swimming in a numbing ocean of warmth.

Snap!

“Hmmmm.....”

With a sigh I let my pink eyelids close, dropping back down into deep, blissful mesmerism. My head slumps forward, and my smile continues to grow wider and wider, my body gently heaving with each breath I take.

I feel completely blank, completely at peace. My body and mind were tingling with a wonderful euphoric glow, a whirlpool of contentment and tranquility wrapped around my soul.

Complete and total obedience now seemed sweeter than sex to me…

“You are pretty, that’s a fact. Now you’ll star in my hypnosis act.”

Beneath my closed lids, my eyes begin to roll far into my head, each deep breath I take sending me deeper and deeper into mesmeric sleep.

“Mmmmnnnn....Yesssshhhh.....Mmaassssterr....”

A slight snore emits from my lips, and I can feel my hair being gently brushed by gloved fingers.

“On a scale you’d be a ten. But for right now, you’ll be a hen.”

“Yessshh....Masssterrrr...Mmmnnn...” I whisper, nodding my sleeping head. I could still envision the warm, pretty sparkles dancing across my tranquil and happy face.

The snapping of fingers causes me to place my hands to my hips, and gently flap my elbows about while squawking like a bird.

“Bwaaaaaak buck buck bwaaaaak! Buck buck buck Bwaaaak! Buck bwaaaaak!”

I prance around the dressing room, clucking and flapping like a chicken with a big, blissful smile on my pretty, dolled up face. It felt climactic to go along with his commands, to just surrender my mind and accept that I was now a chicken, and I needed to squawk and cluck like one.

“Bwak bwaaaaak buck buck..” I happily cluck out, my elbows flapping with excitement. I was so proud to be a chicken for my master, so content to follow his orders and obey, no matter how ridiculous.

“Bwak buck buck bwaaak!”

I bob my head about whilst bending my knees and scratching at the wooden floorboards beneath me, which appeared as the floor of a dirty chicken coop in my vision.

The evil clown continues to watch me like a ghostly specter, feeling quite pleased to be putting on a show with me, even if it was only for his own enjoyment.

“So deep you are in mindless trance, that you’ll please us all with an exotic dance.”

Snap!

Instantly I stop my silly clucking about to freeze in place, my head dropping back down towards my chest. My happy smile continues to widen as I feel waves of pleasure rushing through my body.

I could see nothing but darkness, and feel nothing but warmth, and I would do anything the hypnotist clown commanded me.

“Yessssh....MMmmnnasssterrr....”

I let out with a sleepy sigh, barely getting the words out before a yawn overtakes my drowsy voice. I begin to hear the faint echo of soft drums and flute playing, coming from somewhere off in the distance, finding it entrancingly irresistible.

I raise my arms above my head, moving my hands in small circles while gyrating my hips to the music. Stretching my body upwards, my boobs practically spill out of my generous top.

Back and forth I gently sway my hips and tummy along with the hypnotic music, moving and dancing as if I were a snake being charmed from a basket.

I was no longer in a trashy, run down carnival, but a bright sunny desert, the sun’s warm rays kissing every inch of my skin, whilst I undulated myself to a spellbinding tune only audible to my entranced mind.

My tiara nearly falls when I move my head side to side between my raised arms, my tantalizing display coming to a slow end, as the exotic music slowly faded from my mind back down into the empty void.

“A hypnotized girl will always obey. Place your arms out and march, you must do as I say.”

Snap!

“Yesss Massterr...I mussstt....do....as you ssayy..”

Slowly my arms rise out in front of me, my hands dropping limply by their wrists as I begin to encircle the dressing room in a robotic fashion.

“I amm a hypnotizzzed slave...I musst do as youu ssay...”

I drone my mantra out perfectly, my head tilting backwards and a sliver of drool down my chin whilst I marched around like a mindless sleepwalker.

One of the silly mirrors bounces when I bump into it, gently thrusting me back towards the clown, who looks absolutely giddy to have me under his control.

“I amm a hypno...tizzzzzed.....ssslavve....”

My voice drones out with a snore, the clown slowly stepping backwards and beckoning my zombified self to follow with his finger.

“I musstt doo...as youuu...sssayyyy....zzzzzz...”

I can’t help but let out a loud snore, while the drool running down my face increased. It felt like there was a rope tied around my waist, gently pulling me along where he led me.

Snap!

Immediately I freeze, feeling my body start to become paralyzed in place like a statue. My head tilts back up, and my arms lower back down to my sides. My eyes were spinning around in dizzy circles beneath their lids,

My body relaxes with a soft sigh, slowly slumping down as I drop deeper and deeper into trance. I’ve never felt so wonderful in my entire life, letting out one more drowsy yawn.

“Take a bow my lovely slave. You’ve done so well, you know how to behave.”

My beaming face tilts downwards as I place my hands out and take a bow. As I rise back up, I can hear the faint sound of applause in my slushified mind.

“It was fun to trance you, and you’ll be sorely missed. So you’ll bid me adieu with a sweet goodbye kiss…”

I feel the clown’s large shadow cascading over me as I lean forward, puckering my smiling lips invitingly while he slowly approaches…

* * *

“Cara?...Where the hell are you?”

You let out a frustrated groan, using the flashlight on your phone to illuminate the misty world around you, the empty rides giving off a less than inviting aura.

The good news was you’d located your stash, and after a brief inspection, it looked like much more inside than you originally thought. You couldn’t wait to get home and celebrate with me!

...The bad news was, of course, that the clown house was completely empty….

I was nowhere to be found, and you were beginning to feel seriously worried as you frantically searched the fairgrounds for me. That fear was amplified once you’d found my discarded clothes, even my bra and panties had been laying there, strewn about beside my leather jacket and pants.

You had no clue what would possess me to strip completely naked like that, but it couldn’t be anything good. You knew it was a bad idea to let me wander off like that, and the thought of something happening to me was almost too much to bear.

Click Click

Your eyes open wide when you hear a faint sound in the distance. It sounds like the spinning of a bike wheel, and it’s getting louder the more you walk east. You quicken your pace, listening to the soft click clack click of the wheel slowly increase with each step...

Suddenly a pink and white blur zips past you, and you nearly fall when you see me seated atop a small unicycle, peddling like my life depended on it. And what’s even more shocking is that I was dressed up in a skimpy, sexy ballerina costume!

Three colored balls were circling up into the air and back down into my waiting hands again, becoming a blue, yellow, and red blur around my overly made up face, which looked completely zoned out, as if I were under a trance...

“Cara!! What the fuck?!? Wait!!”

You shout, feeling a rush of shock and surprise, watching my long brown locks flowing in the wind behind me. At first you think this could be my idea of a joke, but this wasn’t really my style.

You’re relieved to notice a duffel bag thrown across my shoulder, but you can’t the last time you saw me in anything so...pink, nor did you even think I knew how to ride a unicycle! But you can’t deny how the sight of my bare legs and chest made your jaw drop.

I continue to pedal away as you rush after me, my blissfully blank mind filled only with a swirling vortex of twinkling stars.

My only concern was to keep cycling and juggling as best I could, those were the only thoughts in my head. Well, besides the image of the sparkly gold coin used to ensnare my thoughts.

“Watch...the...pretty...coin...of...gold...”

My bright pink lips part as I whisper out my mantra, my wide eyes continuing to stare off blankly, only occasionally fluttering. I was sinking blissfully deeper into my trance with each cycle.

“And...I...will....do..WAAHHH!!”

CRASH!

My subconscious suddenly comes crashing back to reality when my unicycle connects with the front of a food vendor, my limp body flying into the eons old cotton candy, as the unicycle smashes into the wall, completely breaking apart in pieces.

“Cara!” You yell my name out as you rush to me, setting down your duffel bag beside mine and helping me sit up.

The pretty, dancing little sparkles slowly fade away from around my face, whilst my irises rolled around in dizzying circles.

I can see three of your outlines swimming across another before you finally come into focus. You watch my pupils dilate as I sluggishly come back to my senses.

“Ughh...J-just five..more minutes....Oh!”

I gasp when the red ball gently bounces against my head. Letting out a yawn I rub my pounding temples, my eyelids fluttering rapidly before opening wide once I look down at the skimpy leotard I was wearing, feeling a rush of confusion.

You give me a smirk, and pull a few bits of cotton candy from my hair.

“I know you make a gorgeous ballerina, but next time you leap across the air, make sure I’m there to catch you.”

You tell me with a playful laugh, and I look up at your grinning face, letting you gently stroke my locks between your fingers.

None of this made any sense, all I could was finding my cut, before suddenly everything got all hazy and...sparkly.

I soon begin to feel a slight stinging in my wrist, and the smile on your face quickly disappears when you see a few tears welling in my eyes. Looking down you can see my skin below my hand is red, and I begin to lightly rub it while trying not to cry.

“M-my wrist...” I sniff out, blinking back tears. You quickly drop down to my level, touching my shoulder and feeling your heart being tugged at by the few tears trailing down my cheek.

“I...I think I sprained it..” I tell you, looking up at you with a watery gaze. Instantly I feel your hand against my face, wiping away my tears before placing your lips against mine.

“It’s alright sweetheart, I’m here..” I hear you whisper in my ears as you cradle me in your arms, holding me like this and just listening to our hearts beating in sync with each other, before you gently help me stand back up.

I let out another quiet sniff, letting a small smile creep back across my face as you warm me with your touch.

“Come on love, let’s get some ice on that.” You tell me with a grin, picking up a duffel bag and throwing it over your shoulder, and I use my good hand to lift the other, holding it up like an enormous purse, one which contained a better life for both of us.

“Then we can pop open some champagne to celebrate.”

Your face beams, your smile so infectious. I can’t help but feel so excited to be with you. I felt like I could conquer anything in life as long as you were by my side.

I let out a happy sigh, our lips falling together as if they were magnetized whilst my eyes fluttered closed…

“I KNEW IT!”

Our romantic smooching is suddenly interrupted by a blinding spotlight being flashed down upon us.

With a gasp our lips part, and we turn to see an angry looking security guard blinding us with his flashlight, my heart nearly seizing inside of my chest.

“Oh crap!” I exclaim, throwing the bag over my shoulder and getting ready to book it. Damn it, I’d forgotten all about this idiot!

“I knew I heard people!” He shouts at us, pulling his walkie out and holding it to his face.

“I found them! Officer Leone requesting immediate backup!”

The two of us gulp, your eyes darting frantically to mine when I grip your shoulder, slightly digging my nails into you.

“Look out! It’s a teenager on a skateboard!” I scream, pointing behind him.

“WHAT?! GOD HELP US!! WHERE?!”

As soon as he turns around, I toss the dented unicycle wheel at him, connecting with his back and causing him to stumble forward with a groan.

“Cheese it!”

We’re already hauling ass back to the gate before he’s even back on his feet, the wind in my hair as we practically leapt across the fairground, running as fast as we can.

“Stop! Or I’ll call the real police!” He yells after us, struggling to keep up. He pants and nearly trips over, as he watches us quickly slide through our makeshift entrance in the gate.

“So this champagne...” I unlock my car and quickly toss my bag into the enger seat, before looking back to you with my ocean blue eyes.

“You’re buying, right?” I ask you with a grin.

You can’t help but chuckle, hearing the angry guard shouting at us as you unlock your own car.

“Let’s see if you can beat me home first.”

You laugh, already hearing me revving my car engine. By the time the out of shape guard has squeezed himself through, we’ve already disappeared up the road.

He steps back with a sigh, returning to the misty fairground defeated. Suddenly his blood runs cold when an eerie laughter begins to echo throughout the carnival....

Epilogue:

Tick…tick…tick…tick…

You smirk, listening to the metronome before me click back and forth, watching my eyes dart side to side beneath their lids in perfect unison with the hypnotic ticking, as I relaxed my sleeping body deeper into the cushions of our sofa.

It was a few months later, and life together couldn’t be more perfect! We’d relocated ourselves across the pond to Europe, where I had a few relatives. And with their help, along with a seemingly never ending cash flow, our lives appeared to be stress free for the foreseeable future.

Tick…tick…tick…tick…

Every day seemed like a dream, you were my ideal partner, and with all this cash we could finally live comfortably together. Although I did ittedly have a bit of anxiety that our life of crime would catch up with us eventually.

But it was nothing the occasional hypnosis session couldn’t remedy.

You let out a soft chuckle, feeling a tingle of excitement rushing through your body at the sight of my beautifully sleeping face, lost in dreamland under a deep blissful spell.

Hypnotizing me always thrilled you to no end.

Tick…tick…tick…

The metronome stops its rhythmic ticking when you catch it between your fingers. You’d just finished listening to me recollect my hypnotic encounter at the carnival, my drab monotone voice listing off the rather embarrassing experience with ease.

It was quite easy for you to reach deep into my subconscious, and retrieve any information you wanted. And I was more than willing to submit to your control.

“Very good Cara. I’m so proud of you, my perfect little sub. Such a good girl you are. Sink deeper into trance, knowing you’ve made me happy.”

You watch a blissful smile slowly creep across my snoozing face. I could feel a wonderful, warm glow at your praising words, the back of my mind tingling with each sexy syllable that invades my ears.

“And you’re sure he didn’t take anything else?”

You ask me, watching a bit of drool leaking from my smiling lips.

“Yes...he...only took...my...mind...”

I drone out with a heavy sigh, my eyes continuing to roll around as my head tilted backwards into a pillow. I was completely engulfed in a tranquil void, who or what I was didn’t even matter to me any more.

All I could focus on was your lovely voice, echoing through my soul as if you were my creator. Your eyes trail up to the mantelpiece above me, surveying a framed picture of us from a few weeks ago, smooching beneath the Eiffel Tower.

A happy sigh escapes you, as your eyes rest back upon me snoozing away in deep trance.

“Well...That’s quite unfortunate for him.” Your voice has a playfulness to it as you take a seat beside me, running your hands up my legs.

“Because I’m afraid this girl’s mind already belongs to me.”

You squeeze my thighs before swooping in to kiss me on my lips, feeling me softly moan as I mindlessly reciprocated your affection.

“Yes...My mind...belongs...to you...”

An excitement nearly overwhelms you hearing me speak these words in my perfectly entranced voice.

“And...so...does...my heart...”

Now you can’t stop yourself from peppering my lips and face with kisses, gently stroking my hair and playfully nibbling on me.

“You’re so beautiful, Cara...I love you..”

I can feel you whispering these incredible words into my ear, being soaked up by my subconscious, and I can’t stop my smile from spreading even wider.

“I...love...you...too....”

Instantly your lips fall back into mine.

An intense makeout session later, and you’re feeling like it’s time to wake me up. You figured I probably got hypnotized that night, but you didn’t expect to hear such an enthralling tale of clowns and chickens.

“Alright, gorgeous. Waking up from trance now on the count of one...two...three!”

Snap!

“Mmmmm…..”

With a moan, my eyes quickly flutter back open when your fingers snap in my face, squinting as they readjust to the light.

“How do you feel, babe? Any anxiety?”

My attention returns to you, letting out a girly yawn and stretching my arms out, before collapsing back into the welcoming cushions of our sofa.

I didn’t feel anxious at all. Actually, I felt incredible! Like I’d just had a full eight hours of sleep, even though a quick glance towards the clock showed me only about thirty or so minutes have ed.

“Wow...I don’t a thing but...I feel amazing!” My adorable face beams, and it takes all your restraint not to snog me again.

“I guess that hypno stuff really does work!” I laugh, giving you a playful nudge before resting my head on your shoulder.

“So you don’t taming that lion?”

Your arms wrap around me, holding me tightly and enjoying the warmth our bodies produced together. It was a position you could stay in until the end of time.

“Cool your jets there, Svengali.” I chuckle at your teasing words, reg myself to sink deeper into your inviting snuggles.

“By the way...What was it about a carnival that made you think it would be a good stash house?”

A devilish grin spreads across your face. I was so adorable to your eyes, and every day of having me in your arms was heaven on earth.

“Well allegedly it’s haunted by a ghost. They say a spirit with hypnotic powers haunts the fairground at night, searching for...his next victim!”

I let out a surprised squeal when you begin to quickly tickle my sides, devolving into a stream of laughter.

“No no!! Please!! Ahahahahaha!!!”

I don’t even attempt to fight back or retaliate, only submit to your tickling mercy while my squealing increases. Submission was what I excelled at, after all.

“Hahahaha!! I submit!! I submit!! Ahahahaha!!!!”

With a smirk you pin me to the couch, giving my sides one final tickle before ceasing the torment with another kiss. I giggle and moan your name out as we return to smooching away, lost in our own romantic world.

Suddenly my eyes open wide as a realization comes over me.

“Wait...hypnotic powers?”

I ask out loud, looking down to the floor. You cuddle me tighter in your arms, pulling my dainty body against you and listening to my heart beat.

“You don’t think...maybe...I was...h-hy—..”

My voice trails off, and you let out another laugh, nuzzling my nose before kissing my cheek.

“When you were on the unicycle?” You start to chuckle even harder. “You’re right, maybe the spirit hypnotized you!”

I roll my eyes and grin while you tease me, playfully fluffing my hair about while gripping me tighter. I close my eyes and rest my head against your chest, enjoying the wonderful feeling of being in your arms.

The sun was almost down, it would be time to retire soon. Or perhaps we could have a bit of fun before bed…Your smile widens at this idea, and you begin to picture me being sexy for you, wearing your favorite lingerie and letting you enjoy the art that was my body.

Your excitement grows tenfold when you imagine me in the skimpy leotard you’d found me in that night. The way it hugged my figure, while amplifying my cleavage and displaying my legs, it was enough to get you in the mood for something more intimate than just cuddling.

You’re about to ask if we should head upstairs when a realization suddenly crosses your mind.

“Wait a minute...If he made you dress up like that...What the hell was he doing while you were changing???”
