The Socks

Chapter 7

Dean Watson decided to stop at her office and check in before heading over to Gamma Nu to investigate Madison’s concerns. After making a few phone calls, she grabbed her jacket and decided to walk to the sorority house because it was less than a mile from her office and it was a spectacular fall day. She told herself that it was likely Madison’s imagination and that a takeover of Gamma Nu seemed far fetched.

Nurse Lydia checked on Madison. She was sleeping soundly thanks to her medicine and the new programming from the VR headset. It was a first step in uncluttering the mind and helping to relax the patient and make her more receptive to future sessions. It always worked without fail. Nurse Lydia checked under Madison’s gown and found that her diaper was soaking wet. This was a good sign since it meant that Madison had slept soundly the entire night. Getting out of bed to urinate or defecate was an unnecessary distraction and counterproductive, so the patients were urged to using their diapers. Madison’s eyes fluttered open and she smiled.

“Good morning sleepyhead, how are we feeling?”

“I feel good Ma’am, thank you.”

“Wonderful.” Nurse Lydia had a syringe ready with Madison’s next dose of the mind control medication. Madison eagerly offered her arm and received her medicine. She felt instantly relaxed and even a bit horny. Nurse Lydia gave her a bowl of protein mush and Madison devoured it. She was so hungry. Nicole also woke and soon both girls were in a fresh uniform. Nurse Lydia prepared their next VR session. About that time Dean Watson arrived at Gamma Nu. She was met by several of the sisters and asked to see Mindy.

“Mindy is now a patient at the Asylum,” one of them said, “we have a new advisor, Nurse Lydia.”

“I see, can you ask her to come meet with me?”

“Let me get her.” One of the girls headed to the treatment room to retrieve Nurse Lydia.”

“Ma’am, Dean Watson is in the living room and has asked to see you.” Nurse Lydia smiled.

“Of course, tell her I will be there in a few minutes.” The girl returned and updated Dean Watson, who took a seat. Nurse Lydia decided to hold off with Madison’s next session and helped her slip into her sneakers and then into the wheelchair. She pushed her down to the living room. Dean Watson was a bit shocked to see Madison in a patient’s uniform.

“You must be Dean Watson,” Nurse Lydia said extending her hand. Dean Watson reluctantly shook her hand. “And you must know Madison.” Gone was the nervous and hesitant girl who sat in Dean Watson’s office the previous afternoon. This Madison seemed happy and carefree and had a smile on her face. “I wonder if we might talk in private?”

“Certainly, ladies, why don’t you take Madison out into the garden so she can get some fresh air.” She then led Dean Watson to her office and closed the door.

“I don’t mean to be rude, but I really have no idea who you are or why you are acting as the Alumna Director for Gamma Nu? The Alumni Director is supposed to be Mindy. Nurse Lydia smiled.

“Well, up until two weeks ago, Mindy was the Alumni Director until she suffered a nervous breakdown from stress. My office was called and we responded to her apartment. Fortunately, we were able to medicate her and begin therapy before there was too much damage to her brain. Once she was stabilized, she was transferred to the Asylum, where she is now. I understand that she is doing well.” Dean Watson was shocked. This was the first she had heard of this incident.

“But….how did you come to Gamma Nu?”

“Two of the Gamma Nu sisters, Elizabeth and Katie, came to check on Mindy. While they were there, they asked to undergo a stress evaluation to make sure that they did not have toxic levels of stress. Unfortunately, both of them tested with high levels. They both requested treatment and are both at the Asylum. Elizabeth asked me to come to Gamma Nu to fill in for Mindy and I agreed.”

“I’m not sure why I was not made aware of this. All alumni advisors have to be approved by my office.”

“I apologize for the breach of protocol, but I can assure you that the Gamma Nu sisters are in good hands. In addition to Madison, I have been treating Nicole and I anticipate she will be transferred to the Asylum later today.” Dean Watson wasn’t sure whether to be angry or grateful. Clearly, there was an epidemic of stress that needed to be dealt with.

“I appreciate you stepping in to help. The funny thing is that I saw Mindy not too long ago and she seemed perfectly normal.” Nurse Lydia nodded her head.

“Unfortunately, stress is often well hidden below the surface and it may not be apparent to someone other than a professional.” Dean Watson had to concede the point. “If you had seen Mindy the night we were called to her apartment, I think you would have agreed that immediate treatment was the only option. We were fortunate to evaluate Elizabeth, Katie, Nicole and Madison early before their stress levels caused severe brain damage. They are responding nicely to their medication and with continued therapy, they have a chance of returning to normal. Let me take you up to the treatment room I have established here and you can visit with Nicole and Madison if you like.” The offer made sense. Dean Watson was going to have to prepare a report for the College Board of Directors, so the more information she had the better. She followed Nurse Lydia to the treatment room. Nicole was in her bed sleeping. “5640, can you wake up, you have a visitor.” Nicole’s eyes fluttered open and she sat up. She had a vacant look on her face but also a smile. “5640, this is Dean Watson.”

“Hello, Nicole. How are you feeling?” Dean Watson asked.

“Dean, please address her by her patient number. We assign patients a number to cut down on confusion. If you use her old name, it is counterproductive.”

“I feel wonderful,” Nicole said, “so much better than before.” Dean Watson recognized Nicole from seeing her on campus. She had also been a volunteer at the campus food bank. She had always seemed very well adjusted.

“I don’t understand why anyone thinks Nic…..5640 is in need to help,” Dean Watson said with a tone designed to criticize Nurse Lydia.

“It’s quite simple really. We go by scientific data, not simply by hunches or feelings. 5640 tested with a Stress Coefficient of 82 on a scale of 0-100. That is considered highly toxic. Scores over 90 may be beyond help. Normal is considered to be around 12.” Dean Watson looked skeptical.

“Explain how you go about treating them,” Dean Watson said. She had not noticed that Nurse Lydia had slipped on a pair of latex gloves and had reached into the drawer for a new pair of white crew socks.

“We start gradually,” she said handing Dean Watson the socks. Before Dean Watson even knew what happened, the power medication infused into the socks was leeching into her body and then her blood stream. It then slammed into her brain like a runaway freight train.

“Oh fuck that feels good,” the Dean said. This was amazing considering she rarely, if ever, used profanity. Nurse Lydia helped her to one of the seats. The socks felt so good in her hands.

“I know you would feel more comfortable without your clothes,” Nurse Lydia encouraged. Dean Watson hated to put the socks down, but she needed to be naked. She stripped off her clothes and then her pantyhose with reckless abandon and then slipped the socks onto her feet where they belonged. The socks rewarded her with more pleasure than she had ever felt. Nurse Lydia laid out a fresh uniform for Dean Watson and prepared the Code of Conduct for her to sign. She would be designated Patient No. 5642. The drug in Dean Watson’s system had begun to reach a therapeutic level. Like Nicole, she had the same vacant look on her face. Gone was the pretentiousness that had been so irritating to Nurse Lydia. She was now little better than a toddler who needed a firm hand for guidance. Nurse Lydia decided it was best to call Dr. Williams before she proceeded any further.

“Dr. Williams, I think a wonderful opportunity has come our way,” Nurse Lydia said trying to control her enthusiasm.

“How so?”

“This morning we had one of the istrative types from the College come to the sorority to investigate. I took the liberty of getting her ready for treatment.” Dr. Williams paused thinking how best to use Dean Watson. Meanwhile, Dean Watson sat in the chair playing with her pussy. So much pleasure and happiness.

“Good, get her into a uniform and make sure the other girls at the sorority see her. That will confirm to them that our work is endorsed by the College. You can begin her first VR programming session, but then let’s get her here to the Asylum to spend the weekend. When she returns to the College, she will be an advocate for the work we are doing. As usual, I am proud of the work you do.”

“Yes, Doctor. I will need some additional uniforms delivered to Gamma Nu.”

“No problem, I will have one of the orderlies bring them immediately.” Nurse Lydia hung up the phone. She loved when Dr. Williams complimented her. She enjoyed her work, but that was especially nice. She returned her attention to Dean Watson.

“How are we feeling 5642?” A smile came to Dean Watson’s lips.

“I feel wonderful.”

“Good girl. Let’s get you into your new uniform. This is part of your therapy and it will make you more comfortable.” Nurse Lydia helped Dean Watson up onto one of the beds. She pulled our a fresh diaper. “All of our girls wear diapers so we don’t have an accident.” Under normal circumstances, such a statement would have appalled someone as intelligent as Dean Watson, but, in her current state, it seemed perfectly reasonable. She spread her legs and soon she was sporting a nice fluffy diaper. Her new uniform felt even more comfortable and she was feeling really sleepy. “Time for a nice nap.” Dean Watson cooed her approval. She also put Nicole down and gave Madison another session of VR therapy. She arranged for the three of them to be picked up late in the afternoon for transport to the Asylum. When Dean Watson awoke from her nap, Nurse Lydia helped her into a wheelchair. Pursuant to Dr. Williams instructions, she wanted the other girls in the sorority to see her in her new uniform.

“Did you have a nice nap?” Dean Watson smiled.

“I have not slept that well in a long time. Thank you.”

“It is my pleasure. I would like to take you to speak with some of the other sorority . I know that some are skeptical about the work I am doing here and your assurance would go a long way.”

“Why, of course.” Even though Dean Watson was a relatively new patient, she understood the importance of obedience. She also understood that she was no longer in charge and that Nurse Lydia and her superiors knew what was best. She hoped that by cooperating, she would encourage other of Gamma Nu to discover the bliss that she was now experiencing and to eliminate the toxic stress that caused so much heartache. Nurse Lydia pushed Dean Watson out into the main hall. There were several of the sorority there and they were surprised to see Dean Watson in an Asylum uniform.

“Ladies, Dean Watson is now Patient 5642. She has tested positive for high stress levels and has requested treatment. I hope you all will learn from her example.” Dean Watson smiled.

“I am so lucky I came in today and saw Nurse Lydia. I had no idea that my stress levels were so high. She told me that I was on the path to a nervous breakdown or a stroke.” The girls hugged her. They were beginning to understand that stress was not something that could be ignored.

“Dean Watson, will you be going to the Asylum?”

“Yes, sweetie, but please call me 5642, that is my proper designation now that I am a patient. I will be receiving some more treatment here today and then I will be transferred to the Asylum for several days of intensive treatment. Nurse Lydia wants me to continue working a reduced schedule so that I can have daily treatments. There is no reason any of you should have to deal with stress when we have such wonderful people like Nurse Lydia to help us.” About that time, Nurse Lydia reappeared smiling.

“Now ladies, it’s time for 5642 to have her next treatment. I think all of you have classwork to do. You can come back about 5:00pm to see her off.” With that, she pushed Dean Watson back into the room and helped her up onto the bed. “We will be using an IV this time to make sure that you get the strongest dose of medicine.” Dean Watson winced as the port was inserted into her arm. She then felt to cool flow of her medicine. Her body drooped and her eyes became heavy. “It’s not naptime 5642,” Nurse Lydia said as she slipped the VR headset over Dean Watson’s eyes. Soon Dean Watson was lost in the spirals as her mind emptied and her body felt more and more pleasure. Both Nicole and Madison were napping. The shuttle from the Asylum would be arriving around 5:00pm to transport all of them to Rosewood. Nurse Lydia’s cell phone rang.

“Nurse, this is Dr. Williams. How are our newest patients doing?”

“Very well Doctor. Dean Watson has accepted the fact that she is now a patient and will be a wonderful asset in helping more students submit to evaluation and treatment.”

“I am very pleased with your work Nurse Lydia. Please plan on coming back to the Asylum on the shuttle. You can tell whoever is the new President of Gamma Nu that we will return next week to resume evaluations.”

“Yes, Doctor.” With the senior and the alumna advisor of Gamma Nu all undergoing treatment, Nurse Lydia had to identify the next person in succession. She found Natalie Kennedy in her room working on a project for Sociology. She knocked on the door. “Natalie sweetie, aren’t you the Gamma Nu Treasurer?”

“Yes, Ma’am,” the junior said.

“Since Elzabeth, Katie, Nicole and Dean Watson are all in treatment, that puts you in charge of the sorority.” This was the first that Natalie had heard of this.

“Yes, I think you are right.”

“Good. I will be taking Nicole, Madison and Dean Watson to the Asylum this afternoon and I won’t be back until next week. When I get back, it will be time to choose some more of the sisters for evaluation and treatment if necessary. I want you to be a part of that selection process. I have a list here of the other of Gamma Nu. While I am gone, please select three girls and feel free to include yourself.” She handed Natalie the paper and closed the door behind her. Natalie could not believe her luck. She promptly marked her name. It would be hard to decide on the two others.
