Victoria knew who Olivia really was, now, knew who she was fully, and fully understanding both who Olivia was, as well as everything that had already happened, left Victoria feeling a sense of acceptance for her current situation. It would all be the same as this now, the same as it had been since she’d signed over all her assets and s to Olivia once and for all. She would work because Olivia allowed her to, and she would earn a salary and bonuses which would all deposit into s Olivia controlled, and which she herself had no access to. She would work, so she did work, and today was yet another workday, so... Victoria went into work.
It had been a week or two since Victoria had finally signed everything over to Olivia, but today, unlike on that fateful day, Olivia had not beat Victoria to the office. Victoria felt a little thrown off without Olivia’s presence, but she went into her office and got on with her day.
After two hours of working Olivia still hadn’t shown up. After two more hours, she still hadn’t. The longer Olivia went without appearing, the more distressed Victoria felt. Yes, technically Olivia could do what she wanted... she had all the assets and property and wealth she could ever want, and though she was almost puppeting Victoria in her role now, having absorbed many tasks which Victoria had delegated to her into her own role, Victoria could still do things without her... if Olivia wanted to take a step back from working, even a bigger step back than just a one-day absence, that could certainly be adjusted for.
Victoria didn’t care for practical reasons; she wasn’t worried about Olivia’s wellbeing, about Olivia receiving slightly less compensation as a result of her absence... and she wasn’t worried about the health of the company, how it would have to manage and adapt both today and if these absences became a common occurrence. She only cared for selfish reasons; only because it was natural to her for Olivia to be around, deciding everything, and it felt odd and unusual for her to be absence. She was considering only her own comfort. It was uncomfortable to be without Olivia; it would be more comfortable if she were here.
Instead of wallowing over this, Victoria simply left to buy herself some lunch, with cash that Olivia had deigned to bestow on her. When she got back from lunch, Olivia still wasn’t there... and at one pm, she still wasn’t. By the time two pm came around, Victoria was so uncomfortable not having Olivia’s supervision and input that she decided she just didn’t want to be at the office at all anymore. And she did feel a little worried about Olivia’s wellbeing now. She’d go home, and if Lexi were there, she’d ask Lexi to check up on Olivia, make sure she was okay, and that nothing bad had happened to her.
When Victoria arrived back home, she looked for Lexi in the main part of the house first; in the kitchen, in the living-area, in the dining-area. She’d left Lexi behind in the kitchen when she’d gone to work earlier, but now Lexi wasn’t anywhere in the vicinity of it. Not having found her so far, Victoria instead sought their bedroom, in case Lexi had decided to take an afternoon nap.
She reached their open bedroom-door, and Victoria’s plans immediately changed. She didn’t have to keep looking for Lexi, because she’d found her in bed, but she didn’t have to ask Lexi to check up on Olivia either, because Olivia was in bed with her.
Both Lexi and Olivia were half-naked and still in the process of undressing each other; Victoria wondered if Olivia had spent her whole day here, or if she’d only arrived recently after first engaging in a series of solitary pursuits.
Lexi and Olivia got the last of their clothes off of each other; they were now both naked on the bed. Olivia brought her mouth to Lexi’s, and began kissing her hard. Olivia hadn’t noticed Victoria’s presence in the doorway, but Lexi cracked an eye, and seemed to see Victoria there. Then she closed the eye she had opened, and began kissing Olivia back as hard as Olivia was kissing her. But there was something about it, as she did it, that gave Victoria the feeling Lexi was kissing Olivia as hard as she was... for Victoria’s benefit, so there would be something more pleasing for her to see.
Their mouths moved together... glimpsing through slips of their lips, Victoria saw their tongues licking over each other. They stayed as they were, both sitting up on the bed, Lexi on the end of it her knees forward, Olivia beside her but with her knees facing toward her, one hand on the other side of Lexi’s lap so that when Olivia leaned her weight on it, it more or less got her mouth to where it needed to be. And the nakedness of each of them was on display... Victoria stepped through the doorway, and entered the room to be a little closer to the image she was beholding. Now that she was slightly closer, and the picture before her had enlarged slightly, she felt, more than ever, that everything Lexi was doing was specifically for her...
The two lovers kissed heavily for several minutes more. At the end of that period, Lexi jumped in place. Victoria knew her wife, and her wife’s responses, intimately; so she recognized what she’d just seen. Lexi had just had an orgasm.
An orgasm? Just from some hot heavy kissing, and nothing else? But her response had been unmistakeable.
The only thought in Victoria’s mind now was Olivia’s authority and power. She was Victoria’s better, but she was Lexi’s better, too... and that might have been why a little heavy kissing had been enough. Lexi knew Olivia was her better, as well as Victoria knew it... so she must have cherished being given the chance to intimately handle someone so much more impressive than her. Having the tongue of a better against hers, the mouth of a better against hers... had been orgasmic... because Lexi did understand that Olivia was her superior.
But Victoria wished some of the eroticism of the situation came from herself. If knowing Victoria was watching could have given just an added hint of eroticism for Lexi, one more element among many others... which then worked in concert with all the others... to help her achieve orgasm... then that would mean Victoria was a tiny bit involved in the situation, and in Lexi’s pleasure. She wished she could be at least that involved; she wasn’t sure if she actually had been.
Olivia kept kissing Lexi as hard, but she had clearly felt Lexi stiffen and then relax again. After another minute or so of kissing, Olivia stiffen and then relaxed, too. Just kissing, just kissing, even for her? She’d found something orgasmic in it too... maybe for her it had been the pride of knowing that an inferior she held within her grasp... was so responsive to her that inferior would cum from heavy-kissing alone...
Seeing Lexi’s orgasm had been bad enough, but seeing Olivia’s orgasm pushed Victoria over the edge. It was all too erotic, too uncomfortably arousing. She couldn’t just stand here watching; it felt like her arousal was unraveling her sanity. She needed to respond to it, express it. She rucked her skirt up enough to slip her arm under it; then her skirt more or less stayed in place by resting on that arm. And with her hand, she reached past her underwear. She stared at the unfolding erotic scene before her, moving her hand through her wetness, leasing each lip of her pussy, teasing deeper into her slit and streaking along it... circling around her clit.
Olivia and Lexi kept kissing, but Lexi cracked an eye again, and clearly noticed Victoria was now masturbating herself. She closed her eye again, and then raised her hands to Olivia’s breasts. Again, Victoria was sure Lexi had done this for her benefit more than she’d done it for Olivia’s. As Lexi began squeezing and handling Olivia’s breasts, Olivia was clearly enjoying it... but it made for an erotic visual, one that Victoria was seeing as her hand played at her pussy with more and more pressure... Lexi had wanted to give her better masturbation material; Victoria felt sure of that.
Since Lexi was now teasing Olivia with her hands, Olivia began doing the same to her. Olivia squeezed and set Lexi’s breasts jiggling, sometimes slightly swinging... sometimes bouncing against Olivia’s each palm. So many different erotic images in quick succession, and Lexi was definitely playing up her responses to what was happening to her. When Olivia handled her breath, Lexi exhaled exhalations that had no business being as musical or as breathy as they were... and she squirmed in place as if she specifically wanted to give the image of herself doing that to Victoria. It was like Lexi was putting on a whole show just for her... and more than that, she was involving Olivia, practically using Olivia in order to pull all this off, and Olivia didn’t even know it.
Too many erotic images happening too fast... too many arousing sounds pairing with them, too many ing flashes of performance in Lexi’s show... everything was happening at once, and Victoria’s body was too overwhelmed. There was too much pleasure inside of her, and her hands was slipping against her physical arousal too perfectly; it slid up her slit one more time, her fingertips just glancing her clit... and that was enough. Just that tantalizing experience, that brief brush which seemed to promise more to come... was enough. An orgasm was set loose inside of her, and it raged through her. She shook on her legs, still stroking frantically.
She saw Lexi crack an eye once more, then close it. Then Lexi seemed to preen in place; though Olivia’s hands were still playing with Lexi’s breasts, Victoria felt Lexi was preening with pride... over the orgasm Victoria had just had.
A few supplemental pleasure-waves echoed after the main one which had ed through Victoria, because the images hadn’t stopped. Now Lexi and Olivia were running hands down each other’s backs, along the sides of each other’s thighs... here and there squeezing a handful of flesh...
Victoria’s body settled from her orgasm after several minutes, but around the same time, Lexi and Olivia were settling into a new position. Olivia leaned forward, and Lexi seemed to understand from that that she ought to move backward. She moved quite a ways backward, until she was more or less centered on the bed. Olivia followed after her, rolling onto her side beside her. She pressed a kiss to Lexi’s cheek, and then spoke something (inaudible to Victoria) in Lexi’s ear. Lexi shifted, then crawled a little along Olivia’s body; then she ended up lying on her side, too, facing Olivia as Olivia faced her.
They had both ended up in a position where their face was at the crotch of their lover. Then Lexi acted first. She immersed her face in Olivia’s pussy, and started quite audibly slurping at what she’d put in reach of her mouth and tongue. She put an arm through Olivia’s legs, letting her hand come to rest against Olivia’s large ass. She seemed to anchor Olivia’s body with that hold... and sometimes press harder there, as if coaxing Olivia’s body to rest itself more firmly against her lips.
Olivia was catching up to Lexi, now. She hid her face in Lexi’s pussy, and there were two sets of slurping sounds. Lexi started being performative again; humping herself exaggeratedly against Olivia’s mouth. She was continuing her show from before... she was humping more performatively than was called for but fucking fuck it was hot. Victoria’s fingers flicked across her entrance at just that moment... her eyes were on Lexi humping, and she’d flicked too closely past her own entrance, because it managed to catch a few of her fingers and slurp them in...
That set her off again. She started cumming, and then she was cumming so hard she just let herself jam her fingers in and out of herself a number of times. She didn’t beat Lexi and Olivia’s orgasms to her own by much. As she was descending from the peak of her pleasure, Lexi yelped into Olivia’s pussy and jerked against her. Olivia just licked into her harder; Lexi yelped again— that had been two orgasms in a row.
Olivia didn’t yelp when she came, the moment after, but though she had more or less held still for Lexi’s attentions, now that an orgasm had encircled the insides of her pussy, she began rocking slowly against Lexi’s mouth. Lexi kept licking... Olivia hummed... Lexi licked... Olivia hummed... Lexi licked, and Olivia hummed. Victoria guessed that Olivia had just cum three times, there.
They both seemed to ease each other back down from their orgasms with slower and slower licks; then when both of them seemed to have settled down again, Lexi pulled back from Olivia, and sat up. She crawled over Olivia’s body, so she was on the other side of her, and then moved back up the bed so that she was lying in parallel to Olivia, each of them looking into the other’s face.
Since Lexi was now on the other side of Olivia, Olivia was lying with her back to Victoria; Victoria was sure this hadn’t been accidental. While Lexi had been between Olivia’s legs, and Olivia between Lexi, Olivia hadn’t been able to see Victoria because her view had literally been blocked by Lexi’s pussy. But if Lexi hadn’t switched sides, with her face no longer buried in Lexi’s pussy, Olivia definitely would have noticed Victoria. Lexi truly was behaving as if she was aware of Victoria all the time, arranging things ideally so Victoria’s presence as a viewer would not be interfered with. Victoria liked it.
Now that both Lexi and Olivia were lying facing each other, they embraced. Or they each embraced with one arm, and with the other arm, seemed to reach for each other’s crotch. There were two squelching sounds, and Victoria was sure that each woman had just stuffed several fingers into the other.
Now each woman was holding the gaze of the other; at last, this was a moment in which Lexi did not seem to be performing for her benefit specifically. Actually, after keeping track of Victoria’s presence so long, Lexi might finally have forgotten she was here. The two of them were holding each other’s gazes, sharing in the same gaze, as they pumped fingers in and out of each other, and as they humped against the hand that was sending fingers into them.
It was hotter to be ignored; it reminded Victoria of her proper place. Both Lexi and Olivia were better than her... so of course they should be allowed to close themselves into their own world where only the two of them were present. She was insignificant, not worthy of notice... it was so embarrassing to stand here and get turned on over this, but that was what was happening. They were ignoring her and now she... was having an orgasm about that. Her pussy sparked against her stroking hand, and she stroked harder, prolonging the orgasm for longer. Once it was over, she found her mind feeling a little fuzzy. She decided not to worry about it; she wanted to keep watching and keep masturbating, and no one had kicked her out of the room, so things could be that simple. She could just keep watching and keep masturbating... that didn’t require her to be clearheaded, and didn’t even require her to go on thinking about this.
Olivia was moving the hand she wasn’t fingerfucking Lexi with. With the arm leading to it, she’d been embracing Lexi before, but now she placed her hand on Lexi’s side, stroking along Lexi, and making Lexi shiver on the fingers inside her. She kept stroking along, along Lexi’s hip. Then she shifted her arm to send her hand around, reaching down across Lexi’s ass. Lexi shivered just from being touched on that wide, soft expanse. Then Olivia drew her hand back, giving Lexi temporary relief. That relief didn’t last long though, because then Olivia brought her hand down hard in a slap. Lexi’s flesh must have rippled to meet it, but all Victoria could see from her position was Lexi jumping from the impact. And then it seemed that jump had caused Olivia’s fingers to hit a different angle inside of her, because then Lexi jumped again, this time in orgasm.
She seemed to take everything the orgasm was inspiring her, and poured it into the fingerfucking she was giving to Olivia; it only took Olivia about a minute more, and then she was having an orgasm of her own. So erotic to see... Victoria’s fingers swirled over her clit then, and she had another orgasm too.
Both Lexi and Olivia’s orgasms seemed to be fading within them already, which made sense, since for that round of orgasms Victoria had gone last. But though their orgasms were fading, they didn’t seem to be done fingerfucking each other yet. Olivia put her arm back over Lexi to embrace her closer, and with her other arm kept sending fingers into Lexi. Lexi was doing the same thing back to her.
“I can feel how sensitive your pussy is around my fingers,” Olivia told Lexi. “It twitches and spasms every time I use my hand.”
“Your pussy is so perfect,” Lexi responded immediately. “And it feels perfect around my hand. It’s the best pussy I’ve ever fucked, felt around or against any part of me.”
The immediate automatic praise was only deserved. Olivia was better than Lexi, superior over her... she deserved praise like this...
“It’s definitely better than Victoria’s pussy,” Lexi added, with a snicker. “Her pussy can’t compare to yours. It’s kind of unpleasant honestly... whereas yours is so pleasing...”
“It’s best not to expect too much of Victoria, or even of her body,” Olivia replied. “She’s quite a disappointing specimen. I don’t think she could help that even if she tried... she’s just pathetic and inferior by nature, and that makes everything about her terrible and dissatisfying, too.”
The cruel comments they were both making seemed to be enhancing the tryst for them both; they were each sending their fingers into the other faster, breathing more heavily, and clinging closer.
Victoria came again when her fingers dipped shallowly into her entrance. They were both saying putdown after putdown about her, but that was only turning them on... and she was standing here, listening to herself be disrespected, and only getting hot about it. It was all shameful, like so much else had been lately, but still good, even so. And her finger had dipped in too wonderfully... she couldn’t hold the orgasm back.
Lexi’s eyes flicked to Victoria for a moment then... Lexi hadn’t forgotten her entirely after all... or if she had, then she’d ed her now and was thinking of her.
“Victoria is so ugly,” Lexi said; technically addressing it to Olivia, but Victoria felt again Lexi was putting a show on for her. “She’s so ugly that every part of her is ugly, including her pussy. She has such an ugly pussy, and you have such a beautiful one! Hers could never compare to yours!”
A second orgasm happened for Victoria, on top of her first one.
Olivia liked what Lexi had just said too; she moved her hand still faster, and then Lexi was seizing in orgasm again... she let that inspire her actions again this time, too... she moved her hand faster... then Olivia was cumming as well.
This time when the orgasms had faded in both women they did not try to keep fucking each other; finally, they both seemed tired and spent. Olivia withdrew her hand from Lexi’s pussy; then Lexi did the same, withdrawing hers from Olivia. Lexi rolled onto her back, and flopped against the bed, as if she might be ready to fall asleep. But Olivia rose from the bed; luckily, with her back still facing Victoria. She didn’t say anything to Lexi, just left her lying there, and moved toward the connecting bathroom, all without turning to look back over her shoulder.
When she closed the bathroom door behind her, and turned on the shower, she’d done all of that without realizing Victoria was present. So Victoria had made it this far without being banished out of the room... if Olivia had banished her out of the room, Victoria would have had to go, would have felt she needed to obey, so she was glad things hadn’t panned out in that fashion.
Lexi was still lying pretty loosely on the bed... Victoria wondered if Lexi had forgotten about her presence again, but the thought that she might have did not bother Victoria. She did not need Lexi’s attention this moment.
She drew her own hand out of her underwear, then let it come to rest at her side again. There was nothing rucking up her skirt anymore, so that settled back into place, too. Now as she stood in place, listening to the shower run, she felt thoughtful. She found herself... facing an opportunity, now. This, right here in front of her, was an opportunity, if she would just seize it. She had a scant number of minutes remaining to her in which she would be able to seize... she only had until Olivia came back out of the shower. And Olivia wasn’t necessarily going to take a long shower. She might only take a quick three-minute rinse, and then re-emerge. That possibility was a frightening one. Victoria scanned the bedroom with her eyes, feeling a little like she was looking back over her shoulder as she did it. She only had so long, and at any moment...
Her eyes ran along the foot of the bed at the bed’s base, near the floor. When Lexi and Olivia had finished undressing themselves, they’d been sitting above there, and — yes! — those looked like Olivia’s clothes right there, piled over each other.
Victoria moved farther into the room, over to the pile of clothes. Lexi didn’t stir at the sound of her footsteps, so Victoria left her be. And hopefully the sound of the water was drowning that sound out for Olivia... she so badly hoped that was the case.
At the pile of clothing now, she crouched. Olivia had dressed herself in a pair of dress-pants and a blouse, the kind of clothes she might have worn to the office though she hadn’t gone in today, and so Victoria ignored the blouse, and reached for the dress-pants. She got them into her grip, then shifted them, feeling around for one pocket or the other.
She reached one of the dress-pants’ pockets, and impatiently stuffed her hand inside of it, scrabbling around for anything she could find, hoping, hoping what she was thinking of would be there. Her eyes were watching the bathroom-door carefully as she scrabbled.
Her fingers closed around a wide disc, her fist brushing against what felt like a chain. Yes— this must be it—
She snatched her located treasure back out of the pocket, turned her fist over, and opened it.
She was holding Olivia’s medallion. The one that had glowed and hypnotized her... what felt like many times, but all her memories of it were hazy, vague and undefined... she could not come up with hard numbers or definite facts. She only knew it had been many times... and now she was holding it in her hand.
She could make do with just the medallion... she listened carefully for a second, but the water did not shut off. If it had, she would have made do with just the medallion. But she could probably steal one more moment... keeping the medallion in her hand, she shifted Olivia’s dress-pants around again, then found the other pocket.
She stuffed her free hand into this pocket as abruptly as she had done when she had been dealing with the other pocket, and once her was inside, she scrambled desperately once again, her eyes wide as she still stared at the bathroom-door. She was starting so hard she wondered if she would find after the fact that she’d made her own eyes go bloodshot...
Her fingers closed around something here too, a cylindrical container. If she’d found what she thought she had found, then this was something that had been used on her before, too, like the medallion had... but it was also something which she had used herself before, too... as she had never used the medallion...
She retrieved the bounty she’d found in this second pocket, turned her fist over again and opened it once more. She stared at what she held for a second. Cylindrical container, liquid inside.
Then she didn’t have the time to linger anymore. She’d gotten everything she could reasonably have hoped to find, and she was better positioned than if she had only found the medallion. But now that she was so close to pulling everything off, she was paradoxically more afraid in this moment than she had been before; it might all be stolen from her at the last second. Surely the water would immediately shut off, and the door would open...
She shifted the cylinder into her other hand, holding it with the center of her palm while she held the medallion with fingers and thumb. She was better posed to take action, now, so she would deal with Lexi, now.
She stepped around the side of the bed, and looked down at her wife. Lexi at least seemed to be dozing; she had not moved out of the position she’d flopped into, and her eyes were closed. Maybe she was even fully asleep, but even if she was, Victoria would rectify the situation quickly.
She leaned over the bed, gripping Lexi’s nearer shoulder with her hand and shaking it. Lexi opened her eyes, and their two gazes met. In Lexi’s gaze, Victoria saw Lexi ing. She’d drifted in and out of ing Victoria was present, a few times— but now her memory was back up to speed, and clearly she was thinking of all the times she had noticed Victoria’s presence.
They couldn’t have this conversation here, though, so Victoria moved her hand partway down Lexi’s arm. She took hold of it gently, and pulled it gently. Lexi flowed up to sitting, following that indication; then when she was sitting, Victoria gave a second gentle pull, which guided Lexi to stand from the bed.
Victoria pulled less gently once Lexi was standing; once she was, Victoria didn’t pull— she tugged, practically dragging Lexi out of their bedroom. And not just dragging her, but dragging her while she was fully naked. For a split-second, Victoria wavered; should she spare thirty-seconds for Lexi to get dressed in something, even a bathrobe? But her eyes fell on the bathroom-door again, and her heart clenched in fear. No, Lexi would have to follow her in her current naked state.
She went on pulling Lexi after her, and heard Lexi’s feet hurrying to keep step, keep up with the physical direction Victoria was giving her. Once Victoria had directed Lexi in all ways and at all times... she wouldn’t think of that right now.
She dragged Lexi out of the bedroom fully, and Lexi followed her. Then she dragged her down the hall, past several other rooms, and finally opened the door to one of their guest-rooms. She dragged Lexi into the room with her, and closed the door, before she finally let Lexi’s arm go. Then the two of them stood facing each other.
They hadn’t had much time alone together, recently; Lexi was more or less still favoring Olivia, giving Olivia all of her free-time. They were alone together now, though, and they were rooms away from Olivia. That should have meant that Lexi was able to relax; even if one or the other of them screamed in here, the sound of that would be so many times muffled by all the rooms and walls between that even an Olivia sitting in the bedroom and doing nothing else might miss it. So the Olivia in the shower definitely wouldn’t hear... and if neither Victoria nor Lexi did anything even approaching screaming in its obtrusiveness, then there wouldn’t be anything to hear. So she could relax; all the tension she’d been holding while she’d had to fear a shut-off waterstream, an opening-door... could leave her.
But she didn’t really feel better. They were out of Olivia’s earshot, and in some sense, out from under her shadow... and they needed to have a serious conversation... and things had improved slightly. But Victoria still felt stressed; there was so much to worry about, so much to keep in mind, and all that stressing seemed to be stopping the words on her tongue.
She knew what goal she wanted to pursue through her own side of the conversation that lay ahead. She was looking at her wife, but she was not looking at the woman she had married; Lexi wasn’t that same woman anymore. Because Victoria herself had killed that version of her. Lexi had loved her and put her ahead of everything else in importance and worthiness of care, and even under the drug, Lexi had still tried to hold on to all those qualities in herself. But Victoria had brutally killed all those things in her and replaced them, had forced her wife to go on and become a self completely unlike the self she’d been before. It had been wrong of her to do it, as evil as if she really had murdered her, but she had only felt sorry in the moment Lexi had woken up from her trance, only once everything original in her had already died and everything new had already taken its place.
Victoria had at least felt sorry, then. And she still felt sorry now. She wanted to take back what she’d done to make Lexi Olivia’s. She didn’t know if that could be done. But when she’d first felt sorry, immediately after the murdering and replacing, she’d also hoped... that the irreversible thing she’d done might turn out not to have been as serious as it had seemed. That hope had been disappointed, but she was hoping in a similar now: hoping the irreversible wouldn’t be so irreversible. Maybe... some of those killed things could come back. Maybe they would, and like her old self, Lexi would love Victoria and place her first. And maybe, even if Lexi entire old-self couldn’t come back all at once, Lexi would at least be able to she’d been different before, and what that had felt like. Maybe she would being in love with Victoria, and what that had felt like.
It wasn’t so daunting, what Victoria had to do in this conversation, so it was ridiculous that she was still standing in place, silent with terror. But she didn’t even have to resurrect Lexi’s old-self, or induce feelings of love in Lexi’s new-self. All she had to do was get Lexi to she had had an old-self. It was a relatively small challenge to meet.
Maybe there was a little more to it than that, but not much. She had to make Lexi she’d been different before... and then she had to make sure Lexi knew what had been done to her. That would reflect badly on Victoria too, even if it reflected badly on Olivia as well... but as long as Lexi understood that she’d been different, and how she’d been changed... those two things alone might be enough to get Lexi to go along and help Victoria with her (albeit hastily-formed) plan. So Victoria should open her mouth now, and remind her of what she’d been like... then tell her why that had changed...
She opened her mouth, but just like before, the words died on her tongue. She was still afraid. What if it didn’t work? What if none of this worked? What if Lexi listened to the reminder, absorbed the knowledge of what had happened, and only brushed everything off? Victoria needed Lexi’s help for this, really truly needed something from her wife in a way she’d tried to keep from doing lately, had been scared to do lately. She needed something, and Lexi could deny her it. Then she’d just be stuck, with no way of addressing the problem herself.
Victoria had to try and calm the fear she felt inside, or she was never going to be able to say anything.
She produced a thought capable of comforting her. Maybe upon hearing Victoria’s reminder, and gaining the knowledge she offered, Lexi wouldn’t be particularly sympathetic. But even if she wasn’t, the general disdain and indifference the new Lexi generally showed Victoria these days might still work in Victoria’s favor. It was possible that upon hearing what Victoria had to say Lexi would feel all that disdain and annoyance... react with impatience in response to those feelings, and then simply agree to go along with Victoria’s plan just so she could get Victoria out of her hair.
It really was a thought that she found comforting. She had two chances of this working: she just needed to say her part, and then... either Lexi would feel sympathetic, and agree to help for that reason. Or she would be annoyed and want Victoria out of her way, and would agree to help just so she’d be left alone. She just needed to say her part... there were two chances in three that in saying it, she would win Lexi’s co-operation.
The fear had eased enough that she didn’t feel bereft of words any longer. She knew they wouldn’t freeze on her tongue this time.
But instead of immediately trying to speak, she ed the medallion into her other hand, and held it up. That had started a sense of momentum in her. Before, she had just been standing static, the same way she’d been doing since she’d first entered this room with Lexi in tow. But now, she had actually done something. She’d made the overture of holding the medallion up; now it was like her actions herself were demanding she follow through.
Holding up the medallion demanded explanation; so now that she’d done one thing, she had to give the other... the momentum was pulling her along, insisting that she carry out what she’d begun. Maybe the sense of readiness she’d felt before would have been enough, and maybe it wouldn’t have; she would never know, now. But she had held the medallion up, and that gave her just one last extra push it seemed like she’d needed. Now the words just came up, rolled off her tongue without freezing in place at all.
“This medallion belongs to Olivia,” Victoria began. “She’s been using it... she’s used it to hypnotize me many times. She knows how to make it glow teal and then seeing that just captures the mind. But she’s used this to hypnotize me, it’s how she made me hers, and I’m sure she’s used it to hypnotize you. She’s used this and changed both our minds around; she’s made both of us so different from how we were.”
That was a good beginning; she needed to give Lexi the proper reminder now, though. “You used to love me, and put me before everything. But you don’t love me that way anymore; you just want to mistreat and humiliate me. And you feel annoyed with me... you only enjoy showing me cruelty. You didn’t used to be like that. You’re like that now because of this medallion, because Olivia used her hypnotic hold over me... to take control of you... and change your mind forever myself.”
She didn’t see reproach or hatred in Lexi’s expression, but she didn’t find the look of sympathy she might have hoped to find either. She still had no idea if Lexi would go along with her plan, if this reminder would prove to have been enough in retrospect, to convince her.
“The medallion’s done more than hypnotize us, though,” she went on... she needed to keep giving knowledge to Lexi too, needed to balance reminder with knowledge. There was no way of knowing ahead of time which thing would be the definitive thing to convince Lexi, so Victoria couldn’t risk leaving anything out. “It’s done more than hypnotize me. Olivia’s also able to use it in order to steal bodily attributes from people, so she gets their attribute and they get the nonexistent she had before she stole. Olivia took my height, took my thighs and hips and ass. This one medallion all that. And now I have it.”
She still wasn’t sure how to interpret Lexi’s expression. And Lexi still wasn’t speaking up to make her thoughts clear.
“I don’t think Olivia is the only one who can use it... at least, I don’t think she’s the only one who can use it to hypnotize...”
She wasn’t sure about its stealing abilities, honestly.
“So we can make use of this behind Olivia’s back.
“—but I don’t want to use it to get revenge on her!” Victoria added quickly. For now, Lexi still had the mind she’d been given, the mind that was more or less on Olivia’s side, the mind which had that tendency to side with Olivia deeply ingrained into it. Even if Lexi would otherwise be amenable to this plan, revenge might be very hard for her mind to accept. So it had been important to clarify that point.
“All I want,” Victoria went on, “is to be free of Olivia’s commands, and of Olivia’s ownership. I don’t want to belong to her anymore. And I think as long as we have the medallion, between the two of us, we should be able to make that happen. Free me, so that I can think and decide for myself again. I just want to be able to make my own mind up about what I want to see happen next; I want to be the one who sets the next chain of events in my life going. And I want to do that without anyone or anything else swaying, influencing or pressuring me.”
Lexi was still only watching her and listening. Victoria wished, again, to see a flicker of sympathy in her expression. The presence of that flicker would have comforted her, made her feel she was about to receive the response, and the help, that she wanted. But Lexi’s face was still imive.
It’s alright, she comforted herself again. If I’m not invoking her sympathy, then I’m invoking her annoyance, and she’ll help anyway just to get away from me.
Still, since she didn’t know what exactly it was going to take to convince Lexi, she didn’t want to leave anything unsaid. She’d add in one more approach to try.
“There might be positive effects if you do help me to free my mind,” she continued. Lexi still only listened to her. “Seeing me behave like a free version of myself might inspire things in you. It might stir you all around, so the changed feelings you’ve been told to feel for me don’t stay in place. Maybe some of your old feelings, the love I reminded you of... will come back. And then maybe the two of us will have a healthier marriage again.
“I can’t say I haven’t enjoyed you constantly abandoning me for Olivia. If I tried to say that, it would just be a complete lie. Every time you have abandoned me for her, it’s turned me on so much I’ve felt like I was just standing in place and having a full orgasm, even without touching myself. So I’ve definitely enjoyed being abandoned by you; it’s brought me a lot of pleasure. But I haven’t only been responding into that abandonment in one way; I’ve been having complex responses... there’s been more than one thing going on. Being abandoned has pleasured me but... it’s left me so lonely too, so lonely sometimes I’ve almost wanted to cry that feeling out.”
Still Lexi’s expression was imive; was she so focused on taking in everything Victoria said that there wasn’t enough time for her to form responses to what she was hearing? Or was her imivity just a result of her indifference? If she didn’t care and wasn’t sympathetic though... hopefully she was annoyed, and would co-operate for that reason...
“There really might be... a way our marriage could improve,” Victoria returned to her earlier point. “If you saw me acting according to my own volition, and then felt some of your older feelings come back. And because the abandonment has left me so lonely sometimes... I would welcome the improvement, strengthening of our marriage. So... help me, Lexi, please. Work with me and the medallion to free me from Olivia’s control... if you just do this one thing, so many other good things could come out of that.”
Finally Victoria had run out of things to say, and it seemed that Lexi had understood this implicitly. And now that there were no new statements of Victoria’s for Lexi to keep up with, it seemed that she was willing to let all she’d heard Victoria say fully sink in. And in response to absorbing in full the meaning of what Victoria had said, Lexi’s face was showing various expressions now; was flickering through them. Victoria was watching it happen, and yet she felt surprised. She hadn’t thought Lexi was capable of this... or if she was capable, then Victoria hadn’t though she would bother. She’d accepted the idea that she would get basically no reactions from Lexi in response to what she was saying. But now Lexi was giving her these reactions after all... she couldn’t help but respond as if she’d been given a gift.
Sometimes, in the rotating cycle of emotion which kept crossing Lexi’s face, there was an expression there, even if only for a few seconds or a moment, that looked like sympathy. Looked like Lexi was really reflecting back over everything she’d heard, and recognizing truth in it... reflecting back on the reminder Victoria had given her, and ing what it had reminded her of.
Each time Victoria saw that ing flash of emotion, she felt a burst of hope inside. That sympathy was the feeling she most wanted Lexi to feel, and it was the feeling she’d convinced herself Lexi never would feel, not ever again... so glimpsing it was a rare and precious thing. As long as that expression was present there on Lexi’s face, then Victoria could tell herself Lexi was leaning toward agreeing to help.
But of course in a cycle of shifting emotions, that expression never did linger indefinitely. It would give way to sadness... and then that sadness looked like such a deep sadness that it made Victoria fear that Lexi would be useless, too sad to offer any help or expend any effort, because that looked like the kind of sadness which just made people lie down and give up.
The sadness was never Lexi’s permanent expression either, though, luckily. As the sympathy gave way to sadness, the sadness always soon gave way to anger... and that anger looked like a ferocious anger. But each time Victoria saw it, she was left feeling unsure. What was that anger directed toward? Was Lexi angry at Olivia for all she’d done to them, the ways that she’d changed them both, stolen from them (both physically and otherwise)? Or was that anger for Victoria herself, anger about the way Victoria had betrayed her at Olivia’s urging? Imagining anger so ferocious as that was reserved for her... made Victoria a little scared of that anger, each time she saw it there in Lexi’s expression.
But no matter which part of the cycle Lexi was currently cycling through, she never spoke, never gave any clarifying information. She couldn’t really fault Lexi for not speaking... after all, she’d stood in silence before Lexi for a good number of minutes before she’d finally been able to motivate herself to say her part. It was fair for Lexi to have a turn being silent and sorting through things internally.
Victoria did wonder, though... maybe even this way of reacting, of ing everything over and over and cycling through emotional reactions in response, was thanks to Olivia. Maybe this was the sign of a fully owned mind, and some of the reactions were reactions that Olivia had left dormant in Lexi so they could come out after the fact, at just such an occasion as the current one. Maybe the sadness was from Olivia, sadness that would make Lexi lie down until Olivia could come find and fix her. Or maybe the anger was from Olivia, designed to make Lexi attack anyone who threatened Olivia’s hold over her. The sympathy wouldn’t have been from Olivia, though. There was no way that sympathy would ever lead Lexi back to serving Olivia; Victoria was sure of that.
But maybe none of it was really linked to Olivia. Maybe Victoria was seeing two different Lexis fighting it out inside, each trying to come out victorious; the old Lexi and the new one. The sympathy would be from the old Lexi, and maybe the sadness too. But the anger might be from the new Lexi... and so maybe both Lexis were fighting each other...
Whatever the reason for Lexi’s cycling-through of emotions, the thing itself gave Victoria something to look at, but did not give any indications of what Lexi was ultimately going to do. Above all, Lexi seemed ambivalent, torn between several different emotions and motivations, and thus overall undecided.
Victoria had tried so many different ways of convincing her before, and she’d kept hoping each thing she said would retroactively turn out to be the definitively convincing things. But now it seemed like nothing that she’d said had been particularly convincing at all. She had not pushed Lexi to make her mind up; nothing she’d said had swayed Lexi completely on to her side. All those different and arguments, and none of them had stuck...
She watched as Lexi kept cycling between emotions. While was Lexi was rolling through internal chaos, and not saying anything, maybe Victoria should try speaking again herself. Nothing she’d said before had worked, clearly, but maybe if she said something new, that thing would be definitively convincing.
She looked inside herself though. What was there that she could say? Lexi’s indecision had brought out a kind of pessimism inside Victoria, and there only defeatist ideas and feelings in her at the moment.
If she spoke now, then she would find herself saying that she had not lurked, medallion in hand, waiting for Olivia to exit the shower— for good reason. She could have done that; the idea had crossed her mind briefly when her hand had closed around the medallion, but she’d dismissed it almost immediately. She’d imagined successfully getting the medallion to glow, and brandishing it against Olivia, even successfully catching her while her defenses were down as she made the journey from one room to the other. But then Victoria had felt certain that her own sense of determination would give out, that she would not have a will strong enough to see hypnotizing Olivia through.
So if Victoria spoke now, this was all she would be able to tell Lexi. I could have tried to use the medallion against Olivia herself, put her under hypnosis and control her into undoing what she’s done. But I didn’t do it because I knew I wouldn’t be able to commit and see it through. I knew I would be too weak to succeed, too pathetic, that my sense of motivation would give out and I wouldn’t be able to go on. All of that is built into my mind now, because Olivia put it there... but even if it wasn’t true the past, I am weak and pathetic and inclined to give up at the first obstacle. I am all those things because Olivia told me to be them. So I couldn’t use the medallion to hypnotize her. I knew I wouldn’t be able to rely on myself to persevere.
Those words had been so ready to spill out of Victoria that even just glancing over the concept they stemmed from had caused them to spill free inside of her. If she had even opened her mouth, they would surely have spilled out from between her lips. And she was glad that hadn’t happened; what would it have helped if Lexi had heard Victoria criticizing herself and lamenting the awfulness of her situation? Olivia had changed them both, had made Victoria insecure and weak, and had made Lexi cruel and domineering, but Lexi had already heard Victoria explain this, now. Why would hearing it a second time have made any difference?
And anyway, the fact that Olivia had changed them both was clearly one of the things that Lexi was feeling quite ambivalent about; even sometimes despairingly sad about. Victoria didn’t want to throw things inside Lexi into even further chaos, which sharing these particular words would do; it seemed like everything was already chaotic enough inside Lexi, at the moment.
She hadn’t spilled out her pessimism for Lexi to hear, and she still wouldn’t now. Lexi didn’t ever need to know that she’d considered hypnotizing Olivia before dismissing the thought. She would never tell her, and that would be alright.
In their interaction overall, though, nothing had changed; Lexi still hadn’t brought herself to the point of saying anything. She was still fighting her way through the same internal chaos, it seemed. And still Victoria toyed with the idea of finding something convincing to say, as she went on standing in front of Lexi and watching.
But there was still only pessimism inside her. That last pessimistic statement had ed from her mind, but a new one had already taken its place. If she spoke now, she would find herself saying it, instead. And just in thinking that she had touched on the underlying concept... the whole thing was so precarious that just touching it sent a whole new set of words spilling free in her again.
I could have tried to use the medallion to hypnotize you... then I could have ordered you to co-operate with my plan, and you wouldn’t have been able to resist doing so. But I didn’t do it, because I knew I only had limited time, and that there was no way I’d be able to get everything done quickly enough. I would have had to hypnotize and instruct you, then wake you up, the medallion into your hand and wait for YOU to hypnotize me... it was too many steps, Olivia would have gotten out of the shower first and caught us before we’d finished everything. So I knew the only thing I could do was get you out of the room and ask for your help...
But the most despairing thought of all was waiting at the end of the torrent of words which had already spilled free. It was all I could do, just to do this, and it still won’t have been enough! Even after all this, after everything, you still won’t help me, and my plan will go unimplemented. There’s no hope, there’s no chance; asking you for help was my best chance, since I couldn’t hypnotize Olivia and couldn’t hypnotize you, but even my best chance is still going to turn out to be as hopeless as all the other options. Because you just won’t ever agree to help me...
Again she was glad that all her pessimistic words had only spilled out inside of her; saying them would never have helped anything. Saying them would only had introduced more chaos to Lexi’s interior, and she had enough she was already fighting through there... and saying them wouldn’t likely do anything to sway Lexi, either, so Victoria would be throwing things into further chaos for no reason at all. It was good she hadn’t said anything, and she resolved to herself that she wouldn’t say anything. Lexi didn’t need to know why Victoria had found it impossible to hypnotize Olivia, or why Victoria had found it impossible to hypnotize her, or that she was expecting Lexi to let her down and had already basically given up all the hope she had. Victoria wouldn’t speak again unless it was to say something constructive, something that was actually genuinely going to help. So until she had something other than pessimism inside to share, as much as staying silent seemed like a lost opportunity, staying silent was what she was going to do.
She had basically given up all the hope she had, though... proving she was exactly the woman Olivia had shaped her into being. She’d never been the kind to give up before, or to easily despair. But Olivia had wanted her weak and insecure and pathetic and lazy and despairing... and she’d changed her to be like that. Now Victoria just had to live with the consequences of that, try to fight her way through them... with only feeble power, because that was all that Olivia had left to her. So it wasn’t her fault that she’d already despaired of Lexi helping her... but all the habits of her new life were always quick to repeat themselves in her, including her habit of feeling ashamed, so she still blamed herself anyway. It was really all Olivia’s fault, because Olivia had made Victoria like this but... the shame was still there.
She had found something constructive to say at last, though. She had, in general , told Lexi the plan before. But she had not laid out the plan in complete detail. And doing that would not be the same as spilling out pessimism; wouldn’t throw things into further chaos. It would actually be helpful of her to mention this; so finally, there was something that she could say. She didn’t have to leave Lexi cycling through her emotional reactions any longer. And she didn’t have leave the state of their shared communication where it was, at the stalemate it had been at, between Lexi looking inward and Victoria herself refusing to share. She just felt so relieved about that.
“Lexi,” she said, calling her wife’s attention back to her. “I know I only talked around it before,” because she’d been afraid to say it explicitly and invite Lexi’s immediate refusal, “but now that we have the medallion, and we’re alone together, I want you to hypnotize me with it, and take all of Olivia’s commands out of my head. I want you to free my mind from her grasp.”
The imive expression had settled on Lexi’s face again; Victoria was sensitive to it, so much so that it drew overemotional response out of her. “Please,” she begged. “Please, please please please, PLEASE hypnotize me with the medallion and get her commands OUT! Please, Lexi!”
At least her overwrought begging had chased the indifferent expression off of Lexi’s face; now Lexi looked conflicted. “Even if I was leaning toward helping you, Olivia’s been shaping and reshaping us both for weeks and weeks. She’s gotten all her changes pretty deep into us. How can you trust that going into a trance for the medallion will be enough? If it isn’t even going to be possible to get Olivia’s commands out of you, then why should we both waste our time?”
“But I thought of something for this!” Victoria exclaimed. She lowered the hand that was holding the medallion, and thrust out the hand that was holding the cylindrical container she’d taken out of Olivia’s second pocket. “This is the hypnotic drug that Olivia used on me, and that I... used on you. If I take it, though, I’ll be able to descend to a much deeper trance, which means you’ll have much better access to everything in mind. Olivia’s commands are powerful, but I think basically undergoing double-hypnosis, by taking the drug and trancing for the medallion, will make it possible to overcome them.”
Lexi was looking at the cylindrical container in Victoria’s hand. That made Victoria feel guilty again; was Lexi thinking of when Victoria had drugged her with this same substance?
When Lexi spoke though, she did not sound reproachful. “You really are serious about this plan, to have snatched both things of Olivia’s and brought them both with you.”
But that hadn’t been a full answer; that had been a stalling answer, like Lexi didn’t quite want to make her mind up yet, and was trying to hold on doing that as long as she could. And Victoria didn’t want that; she wanted a proper answer.
“Please, Lexi,” she begged again. “Let me take the drug first, and then put me in a trance using the medallion.”
Lexi wasn’t stalling any longer now; nor was she looking back at Victoria imively. She was giving Victoria a very tender look... the kind of look she’d once given Victoria all the time. She was looking at Victoria as if she really loved her... it seemed like a fragment out of the past. Or maybe like a small piece of old Lexi had come back, at least in his moment. And seeing that look just made Victoria wish... but maybe it would be possible that their marriage would improve. Then maybe Victoria would get to see many more looks like this one in the future again. That was a pleasant prospect.
“Alright, Victoria,” Lexi said, in a tender tone which matched the look that she was giving Victoria. “I’ll get you into a trance and then... I’ll try and free your mind of Olivia’s control.”
Victoria exhaled. Things had gone back and forth for a while, and she had worried so much, but as it turned out, Lexi was going to help, was going to go along with her plan.
Victoria was so relieved, actually, that she couldn’t help smiling. From how wide the smile was stretching her mouth, it felt like what she was really doing was beaming.
She was so happy the feeling was really excitement, but that meant it wasn’t enough just to stand there and bask in the feeling. She wanted to actually move in the direction of her desired outcome. Still smiling, she held out the medallion for Lexi to take it, which Lexi did.
With one hand free, now, she opened the cylindrical container she had also swiped from Olivia. She raised it to her lips, and tipped the hypnotic drug into her mouth. She was so eager that she swallowed it all down in one hard gulp.
She felt the drug begin to take effect; it was soothing everything, and making the edges of her awareness blur. But she hadn’t officially been set in a trance yet, so her decisions were still her own.
And she chose to relax herself, to focus more on all the ways the drug was making her feel better. Within the next few minutes, when Lexi tried to set her in a trance, her mind would be very susceptible to that, because of the drug. And when she came out of the trance later, everything would be different. She sighed in contentment, looking forward to that.
