Read stories written by softi
I’ve been reading mind control stories for years now and have written a few as well. I mostly like ff stories with themes of betrayal and reversal of fortune, preferably a little longer with a struggle involved. Each of these stories has a special place in my heart, but I think I need to extend this list if given the opportunity. There are so many other great stories that I am not yet calling out.
Captivating Oddity by MoldedMind
This one is luscious, with thick language and a protagonist that has a long struggle against herself and her own self-enslavement.
Enslaving the Self by sara castle
I love self-enslavement stories, and this one is special. It inspired my story, Bound, and is really so much better. Fighting against your own baser instincts is difficult for a protagonist and thoroughly entertaining read.
Bond by trilby else
This one has beautiful writing and a wonderful build-up. Joss has to be one of my favorite antagonists in this genre. And the ending. Oh, the ending.
A meeting of mind controllers to take care of a threat they didn’t foresee? Sign me up!
I love a good spy story, and this one is one of the best.
It Rings For Thee by Doctor D.
Rich language, a great fantasy setting and complicated characters make this a fun read.
Queen’s Pawn by Iago
This is one of the first stories that really got me. The setup is fun and reversal of fortune, as I said, is one of my favorite tropes. The device at the end is also something that I have thought about in my own stories, but haven’t gotten around to adding.
Superhero/comic book stories can be fun reads, as I like seeing strong protagonists have to fight their way through to the true controller. Oh, and that reversal of fortune thing.
Four Women and Five Women by connie k
I took my idea for Thoughtless from these two stories. I love the idea of a club for hypnotists and fans, and these have such a sexy storyline along my typical themes.
