I generally prefer md and ff; I also appreciate decent prose and a sense of humor. Usually I’m more interested in transformation (mental or physical) than in induction or sex. But the mind and desire are both odd things, so you never know what’s going to hit you.

I tried not to obsess too much over which ones to choose here. I could easily have made a different list. But here we go!

And I Hit Send…The Final Say

Even though this is pretty new to the site, I was surprised to see it hasn’t gotten a reader rec. It’s a spectacular debut; first person narration by an extremely sympathetic student as she is forced to debase herself in intimate and shattering ways. There are so many things to like about this story—the way that you never learn exactly what commands some of the targets were given, the way that the narrator is forced to betray herself and collaborate in her betrayal, the devastating last few paragraphs. Just amazing.

Bachelorette PartyEppy 37

I often like the “I wish” mc trope; this one is short and enjoyably preposterous. There’s not a ton in the way of distractions like “plot” or “character”; just some all-powerful sociopath and unwitting bachelorettes. The economist cursed to explore supply and demand is my favorite bit.

Corrupting CorrineAnders Florren

Cut off at only two chapters, alas, but those two are smoking hot. You’re deep in Corrine’s brain as she’s rearranged, and the professor really seems to be more in it for the experiment than the sex. The combination is perfect.

Four Million ToysDominic H. Hugh

Dominic writes high concept mind control stories. This one—in which some guy suddenly discovers he has absolute control over every woman on earth—is easily my favorite. Not everything works; the story gets distracted sometimes by career empowerment fantasies, which I’m just not very interested in, and Dominic’s lean to consensual BDSM also isn’t exactly my thing. But when he focuses on the scenario’s potential for public spectacle and sweeping chaos, it’s a unique, hot read.

I Beg To DifferDowning Street

Downing Street is a legend. This is one of his less cited efforts, but it’s a favorite if only because it’s one of the first things I read on the site. As with all his stories, the build up is delicious and the women is very very happy with her new self. And of course the writing is a pleasure.

Mad MaxEyeofSerpent

EyeofSerpent is also justly celebrated. I loved her mad scientist lesbian Belle stories (a major inspiration for my Sex Worm Apocalypse story) and the sequel, “Mad Max” about the corruption of an anti-mind control government initiative, promised to be even better. The detail of the one mind-controlled subject drooling because she’s so deeply under still gets me. Alas, the story was pirated and she decided not to finish the series. Don’t pirate stories! We all suffer!

Mr. Powers Classmanintie

This is a straightforward all-powerful psychopath jaunt. What really gets me is the telephone bits; a major inspiration for my Vanessa’s Voice stories.

Sarahmc_guy5155

A recent favorite. Rather than turning the target into a standard bimbo, slut, or slave, the mc gives her some slightly more subtle incentives having to do with alcohol, condoms, and irresponsible behavior. The mc’s deliberate but introspective cruelty, and the calibrated sadism reminds me of some of Orestes’ writing. Which is very high praise.

Sock Cocket and Gussy PirlMichelleLovesTo

MichelleLovesTo’s controllers have a matter-of-fact flirtatious ruthlessness to them that is simply irresistible (the name of another of her stories, not coincidentally.) The transformation of two quarreling twins into much-too-loving sisters is done with studied, sadistic good cheer; the mc even jots down notes for the transformation beforehand! All her stories are great, but this is the one I keep returning to most often. MichelleLovesTo is the inspiration for Navi, the mc in my story Fashion Victim.

The Wedding PartyUnicode Smith

Unicode Smith is one of the few authors on the site who can pull off an actual plot with stakes and suspense. His mind controllers generally have very specific, delimited powers, and they have to do some real thinking, and get a few lucky breaks, to drag their desperate victims kicking and screaming and moaning into servitude and submission. The Wedding Party is especially deftly orchestrated, with women real enough to root for—though what you’re rooting for is obviously more than a little ambivalent. This was the story I was trying (unsuccessfully) to imitate in my own Witchfinder.

That’s it! Hope you find something you haven’t stumbled across, or are reintroduced to an old favorite.
