I love hypnosis stories with a good degree of verisimilitude. If I can believe that a hypnotic induction in a story is well-written and well-executed enough to semi-plausibly achieve the desired effect, I’m on board, otherwise it’s like watching a bad cartoon. On top of that, I love stories that are told from the subjective viewpoint of the female subject, as she succumbs to hypnotic suggestions and feels her mind and thoughts shifting and her arousal intensifying. There’s seriously nothing sexier than that.

Automatic by Jukebox

I’m a sucker for stories where someone’s subconscious has already submitted to being a slave but the conscious self hasn’t caught up yet and thus has to contend with her own mind and body acting on their own. And this is the epitome of that. The depiction of a woman’s internal journey in a slow, detailed, drawn-out way as she fights her own arousal and emergent fantasies and unconscious actions is so exquisite, this is Jukebox in top form.

Donna Enslaved by Master

Something about this story tickles me, despite the implausibility of the titular Donna succumbing so quickly to a single hypnosis session that she offers herself to her coworker and essentially begs him to let her be his slave. I think overall it’s just a very sexy setup with a fun depiction of Donna becoming more and more eagerly submissive.

Love Letters by Mountain Man

I mainly enjoy just the first chapter, but despite the silly setup of surreptitious hypnosis through old-timey letters, the actual inductions and suggestions and gradual transformation are very well done. Mountain Man is a legend when it comes to inductions, and the prolonged seduction he expertly crafts makes the recipient’s transformation from pen pal to slave surprisingly compelling.

Sink Into Me by Jukebox

Based around an incredibly well-written dissociation induction which leaves the subject as a mere extension of the hypnotist, this is one of the best stories I’ve seen in a subgenre I’ve always wanted to see more of: the “takeover” genre where someone basically annexes another person to become a part of themselves. The story starts with two people but ends with essentially one person inhabiting two bodies. Sexy stuff. The fact that the hypnosis is well-written to the point where it es my verisimilitude standards is icing on the cake. And it takes place largely from the point of view of the subject as she’s taken over bit by bit. A-plus, would love to see more of this.

Who Is Victoria Jardine by Bookman the Owner

A sweet and sexy story of submission, I love how this story charts the female protagonist’s journey as she subjectively confronts her deep subconscious need to be a slavegirl. There’s a section that’s reminiscent of Automatic but in a sweet and romantic way that’s almost like a cute romantic comedy as the hypnotist leaves the subject on her own to succumb to her own mind and body which have already submitted to him subconsciously.

Willingly by robotbrainhumanheart

This appeal of this story for me is the logical induction, the way the hypnotist uses double-binds to convince the skeptical contrarian subject that despite what she consciously thinks, her subconscious wants the opposite, which in this case is to be his slave. By equating her body with her subconscious and using bodily reactions to dissociate her subconscious from her conscious mind, the hypnotist uses the subject’s own resistance against her and frames her submission as an inevitable result of her subconscious being stronger. Brilliant stuff. The story does cheat a little by cutting ahead in the process, as it’s clear we miss large parts of the hypnosis session that I would’ve loved to see.
