The erotic fiction I write and enjoy reading tends to be male-dominant / female-submissive mind control stories with themes of dominance, humiliation, non-consensual sex, and bondage & discipline of the women involved. I prefer tales where the women know they’re being abused by a man, but they are unable to effectively resist, they can’t do anything about it, or perhaps they are even complicit. I also prefer tales where there is resistance and a gradual defeat of the women. I like interesting characters, interesting plot twists, internal consistency, and logical justifications. I want the main characters to feel real and make rational decisions. While I enjoy tales of humiliation, I also enjoy sweet romantic tales as long as there is some kind of feminine submission. I don’t enjoy stories with lots of misspellings or incorrect grammar. I want stories that are so well-crafted that I can lose myself in them.
This is a delightful story with many interesting characters and a carefully crafted plot that leads to a satisfying ending. The basic premise involves a “code of conduct” that our victims must disobey. I love stories that involve gradually accumulating rules, because I enjoy reading about the process of degradation. This story has rule accumulation in spades. Rules meaning the opposite of what they seem to say is surprisingly erotic. The ending wraps up all the key characters’ conflicts and is true to its premise. This story is highly recommended.
Happy To Oblige — Downing Street
I’m not the first to recommend Downing Street. I’m not the first to recommend Happy to Oblige. I make no apologies. Downing Street is a legend in male-dominant/female submissive erotica. He has contributed many excellent tales through many decades. Among his many wonderful stories, I keep returning to this gem. In this tale, Debbie is happy to do many things for her 18-year-old student Johnny. Johnny increasingly takes advantage of her. I love her gradual humiliation and exploitation. Each scene builds on the previous ones. Its ending feels earned and satisfying.
Good to the Last Drop — Mister Harvest
This is a classic story. Our hero slowly gains sexual power over the women around him, not instantly but over time. All of the main characters are interesting, distinct, and have their own goals. Most importantly, they behave rationally. Its interesting situations are hot. It doesn’t have a real ending, unfortunately, but I recommend it anyway.
Impulse Control is a story well worth reading. This story slowly ratchets up the sexual tension over several chapters, and when it unleashes you enjoy the ride. Chapters 7 and 8 are especially my favorites. I especially appreciate that there are well fleshed out characters, with their own desires and concerns. Its ending wasn’t what I was looking for, as I prefer clear unrestricted male domination, but it was a clear resolution.
Archer Stories: Gift of Orgasms—Aggressive — Archer Stories
This is a spectacular tale. A man receives a special power, and slowly subjugates multiple women with it. I appreciated that the first girl, Niki, repeatedly tries to resist yet finds herself increasingly under his control. The downfalls of the women, especially the first two, are hot. The story’s ending is satisfying and logically completes it. The author wrote another story with the same concept but less domination and humiliation. You can guess what version I preferred. This story does have some spelling and grammar errors, not something I prefer, but those blemishes are not enough to subvert its many strengths. The story is aggressive, yet it’s somewhat sweet by its end (in a fucked-up way).
A Leashed Tiger — Alecta’s Shadow
Alecta’s Shadow is a great author who has crafted many wonderful works. Here I pick an awesome and overlooked tale. The premise of A Leashed Tiger is different, involving a mind controller increasingly controlled by someone who cannot control minds himself. Her gradual increasing degradation over time is exactly what I love. It’s hot! The main characters aren’t merely props, they are rational actors in a high-stakes competition. Her resistance over time, and the penalties she reaps from her failures, make this a masterpiece. In a few places Serena’s wallowing in self-pity is too repetitive for me, but that complaint is like complaining about a few excessive brush strokes on the Mona Lisa. If you like male-dominant stories set in a real world setting, read this.
Rape Safety Hypnosis — All These Roadworks
If you like male-dominated erotica, you need to read the works of All These Roadworks. He is a literal professional and a key master of the craft. His creator site has some books for sale and some interesting analyses as well. On a personal note, some of the excellent works of All These Roadworks were a key inspiration to me to write erotica. Warning: many of his works, including this one, are dark. Some are even dark for me, and that is saying something. Some of his other works have been picked as reader’s picks, so I’ve picked an often-overlooked short story of his. This story sets up the premise and immediately begins the road of degradation and humiliation of our female victim. The ending is exactly what you might want from such a story. All of this, with only a few words. I especially appreciate that the heroine is trapped and later hurt by those who care about her. It’s hard to beat the intensity of a girl being betrayed by those she trusts.
From the Ruler’s Blog — Veiled Ruler
There are many serious stories involving a mind controller with special powers who carefully thinks through the commands he will impose on others. This is not one of those stories. Instead, the offscreen mind controller repeatedly imposes not-thought-through rules on the world, with absurd results. Men cleverly exploit the rules, while women unsuccessfully try to protect themselves from those rules. I enjoyed this story’s different approach to the genre. You’ll laugh out loud at some of its insane situations. This is essentially a collection of short stories set in the same world, not a single long story, and that is fine.
A High School Reunion of Different Sorts — Cindy Silver Eyes
For over twenty years the Alt.Sex.Stories Text Repository (ASSTR) was the largest freely-available archive of erotic fiction. It is now long gone. Thankfully some of the ASSTR works, like this older story by Cindy Silver Eyes, are still available. In this tale Cindy finds herself subjugated and humiliated by her new employer. This is more romantic and sweet than most of my other picks, but it’s so good and I am a sucker for the romantic. This is a male dominant / female submissive tale that’s consensual, happy, and so much fun. Every chapter is a delight. Its one weakness is that the story simply stops where I wish it’d kept going. Where are the “meet the parents” events? Even without a true ending, it is well worth reading.
