What I look for in an Erotic Mind Control story is 1) Mind Control and 2) Eroticism. That may sound reductive, but I can’t summarize it in so few words any better. My interest in these stories is reading long descriptions of hypnosis and its impact on the subject. I want the seductiveness of the dominant in the story to come across in the metaphorical pages, and I want to be dragged along with the subject as their desire grows for the submission we all know is inevitable. Once we’re there, I enjoy brainwashing and fun villains convincing characters to act in new ways (be they serial recruitment, betraying their friends in a saturday morning cartoon sort of way, etc.): but it’s crucial that every step of the way the subject is enjoying themselves. That’s where the eroticism comes in: I like stories that depict hypnosis as sexy and compelling, and the characters involved finding each other attractive, even as their roles are distinct.
The Underwear Situation by Lost Mind
An excellent newer addition to the archive, which literally dangles the appealing elements of the story in front of us for a while as we wait with increasing anticipation for all of the pieces to fall into place. If your first instinct upon seeing a large number of chapters is the same one I have when someone recommends a TV Show with 12 seasons, ignore that instinct and try this story! I promise at the end of each chapter you will be glad there is more, and when there isn’t the story will have felt much shorter than it was.
This is an excellent short story that hits all of the right buttons. There is an exciting exhibitionist element to everything taking place in the classroom and it’s very hot to read about Rachel being compelled to ignore what is happening and focus on her studies.
Okay so compiling all of these stories I am learning that maybe I have a thing for vampires. And perhaps you will too if you read this. My favorite part of this story was how sexual the hypnotic control felt to Lori while Isabella played perfectly coy.

Does it count as psychological transference if reading this story makes me feel as attracted to Samantha as the main character does? Just wondering. There are lots of great stories in the archive playing with the theme of a relationship with a hypnotherapist, but this is my favorite in the genre that I come back to all the time.
Slaves to the Snake Goddess by Sammynona
I suspect many people here can relate to the main character in this story, Ariel, who has a favorite movie from growing up that just so happens to contain a hypnosis scene which made her feel funny. This story explores what would happen if such a movie had real hypnotic powers and you showed it to your friends. I highly recommend it.
The Nimfonian Takeover by RelaxationObsession
I have never been a fan of science fiction television shows about space travel or aliens, but I feel that I would have if the aliens were impossibly beautiful women who sometimes don golden bikinis and hypnotize you. This story is filled with fun scenes of crew submitting to mysterious aliens that have recently come on board the Starship Excelsior to seek asylum. My favorite takes place on the ship’s gym where a workout class slowly becomes a mass hypnosis session.
Compromise by Tabico
Speaking of aliens, in Compromise, the legendary Tabico writes what is perhaps my all-time favorite story in the entire archive. Getting to enjoy Ling’s slow corruption is well worth the time Tabico takes. Hang in there until chapters 5-8 to get to the more direct hypnotic elements, and then when the story ends you will be as sad as I am that there isn’t a sequel.
Jungle Babe — In the Clutches of Cernunnos by Soul in Shadow
This story has darker themes than I usually enjoy, but the author pulls them off in a way that makes them feel seductive instead of cruel. It reads like an exciting comic book where you would want to furiously turn through pages to see what happens next, yet are still compelled to stop and stare at each to picture more scenes in your head.
The inescapable sexyness of Terry-Instructive slowly hunting Candaes and Csina as they uncover more about their circumstances is a master class in drip storytelling. The mind control scenes are hot and the story is filled with twists and turns. I personally missed this story for a while because the first chapter didn’t interest me, and I do think you could easily start from the second chapter, but now that I have read the entire story I love all of it.
Hive by Trilby Else
Just like the main character Tanya, I desperately want to be part of an “Obedience Group” every time I read this story about a failed attempt to rescue a woman from a mysterious mind control complex. And I read it often.
In my opinion this is one of the all-time best stories written by one of the all-time best authors on the archive. The ages where Dr Calvert toys with Serena are some of the hottest in the entire genre and the B-plot helps build the world illustrating the much larger trap Serena is falling into.
When I say that I believe that in a good mcstory, hypnosis should be sexy, this is the story I think of. The writing in this story is incredibly sensual and the characters Tegan and Joss are rendered in a remarkably desirable way. Best of all, the hypnotic induction in the second chapter is so detailed I find myself almost drifting into a trance reading this story.
