I’ve been frequenting the archive for about twenty-five years now, and it was only about six years ago that I finally began contributing myself. For me the hottest mind control is that involuntary, evolutionary drive that we all already experience, and the best stories are the ones that force their characters to succumb to it, tearing through their fear of pregnancy and the taboos of polite society and reducing them to bodies mindlessly acting out their reproductive instincts.
Plot-wise I often enjoy sluttification, breast expansion, and breeding, and stylistically I prefer stories that focus on the subject’s thoughts, reactions, and physical responses throughout their changes and the inevitable humping that follows. Basically, I like reading about bodies being built for sex and being used for sex, and the riskier the better. I enjoy stories with both lighter and darker tone, but am usually turned off by bondage, embarrassment, and pain; the characters in the stories I like best are enjoying themselves, whether they want to or not! I tend toward md, but I also appreciate fd stories—just so long as someone is forced to act on their carnal urges.
Some tropes that I have a particular fondness for include: corruption, reluctance, futile resistance, unintended outcomes in general and characters ensnared by their own devices in particular, characters unaware of their changes, and many others. I usually prefer shorter stories—5,000-20,000 words is probably the sweet spot for me, though I’ve enjoyed stories that are both much shorter and much longer—and for plot, characters, and worldbuilding to be on the lighter side.
If you want a general idea of what I like, basically anything by Lisa Teez, Kris P Kreme, William Pratt, or Nadia Nightside would be a good place to start.
For the first ten entries in this list I’m restricting myself to stories that haven’t been featured before. I know there are plenty of stories I’m forgetting, and many more that deserve to be here, so I’ll try to come back and flesh out this list from time to time.
Short and effective. I love the pulsing nature of the changes and the way control bounces back and forth between the two characters as they exacerbate the situation. The main character realizing that she should try to resist and then embracing her changes anyway is the cherry on top.
Simply put, the the way the cheerleaders are made to relentlessly crave pirate cock to the point that it completely overwhelms their resistance makes this my favorite Lisa Teez story.
Breeding Day at the Mall by Zaoz Z
A varied collection of breeding stories woven around a couple of entertaining through lines. If you like reading about hot women reluctantly allowing themselves to be impregnated by random men, this story is for you.
Breeding the Neighbor by Moe Wallace
Light on the mind control, heavy on the delicious descriptions of just how much the protag enjoys being made to breed his curvy neighbor.
A delightfully detailed of a girl turning herself into a busty, slutty bimbo for her boyfriend. My only hangup with the story was that it was never continued, but it might honestly be better this way.
Easter Egg Hunting by Kris P. Kreme
Another short collection of hot breeding stories, this time featuring magic eggs that make women baby-crazy. For quite a few years Paintball Preggos was my favorite impreg chapter on the Archive.
The Family Cure by Varian Milagro
I’m honestly surprised that this story didn’t already have a Reader’s Pick. I love the way the women initially resist/resent their changes, only to have the Essenza not only make them love them, but make them want to spread its corrupting effects to new victims as well. Good breast growth in this story too.
Might just be the most seductive-sounding transformations on the entire Archive. I love reading about Madeline and her friends trying and failing to resist touching the brooch, and, as with Bag of Fun, the fact that a little bit of their change is permanent each time is the icing on the cake.
Another of the stories that I wish there was more of—I could read about Tommy intentionally and unintentionally turning girls into sluts all day.
I love the way that, once the girls are freed from the idea that sex has consequences, they naturally begin filling themselves with cum every chance they get. Short, but absolutely hammers on some of my hottest buttons.
