I’ve selected some stories that serve as a broad cross-section of my interests but are no means exhaustive. I like corruption with a convincing turnaround in personality (physical transformations are great too). Good to bad, prude to slutty, smart to dumb, any slide from one end of the spectrum to the other works for me! But the more focus given to how that change occurs (as explored by the situations unfolding along the way) the more I will like the story.
While I enjoy a good FSub tale about a bad dude systematically changing a girl’s mind, my primary interest is where the mind control is an external force out of everyone’s control. Any way you slice it, I want the “bad” ending. I like to see stories follow through on the changes set out for their characters, leaving on a vastly different status quo from where things began (Whether that’s for one woman’s life, an entire office, or for the entire world)
Internet Famous by Angel Blair
This very short tale packs a punch thanks to how the action plays out in three escalating scenarios. The fractured thoughts as the narrators struggle to resist their new mindsets is great technique! This is the ideal kind of flash story for me. All heat with just the right amount of build-up and characterizations.
Porn tropes magically impose themselves on a young woman’s hometown. (A premise tailor made for a Limerick story.) It’s great fun watching her react to the pornified world in the first half, then succumb to that same porn logic in the second half. As always with Limerick, he mines this premise for all it’s worth with hot and comical vignettes interspersing the gradual porn-ification of the protagonist and her friends.
One of my favorite examples of a story where the mind control begins as intentional before slipping out of anyone’s control. A girl targets her sister with subliminal music, but the effects spill over to the other ladies in their family until all of them are left slutty and stupid. Our main girl’s struggle to fix the problem, even while hearing the brainwashing music herself, is the payoff that makes the whole story land.
Women in Tech by Pan
I love corruption, but cheating/NTR needs the right execution for me to enjoy it. For Women in Tech, the premise is laden with dramatic irony as a man’s girlfriend is slowly brainwashed into a company slut. With the help of his girlfriend’s sister, he struggles to understand and stop what’s going on, even as both of them are infected with the tampered logic that they are trying to dispel. Dark and exciting in just the right way!
This story follows a close-knit group of virginal teenagers who over seven days are corrupted into horny hedonists thanks to their exposure to cherry-themed invitation cards. Excellent build-up as the girls (and guys) slowly come around to attending our heroine’s depraved birthday party orgy. Stories that contain staggered corruptions are great. It’s all the more satisfying to see a girl succumb to brainwashing only after she made a big stink about those same changes in her friend first.
A story about sexy airline stewardesses and the female engers being assimilated into their ranks. Really fun imagery/clothing and a great airplane setting, which is why I think it’s always stuck out in my mind. Includes a nice dose of relationship amnesia as our heroine is separated from her fiance who undergoes some brainwashing of his own. Their eventual reuniting makes for a great capstone.
Nice Guy and its sequel Birthday Present by Downing Street
Downing Street is oft recommended, but I’d be remiss not to include his work. This pair of stories is about an unassuming nerd who wreaks sexual havok upon the minds of an upper class girl and her stuck-up friends and family. I love the interplay between the mind controller slowly wearing himself out and our sluttified narrators becoming too horny and ditzy to realize what is going on. The sequel especially has great mass control as a stuffy birthday party is slowly undone. Downing Street is unrivavaled when it comes to corrupting the upper crust of society.
For the People by Bronze Mirror
Politics play is usually my erotica third-rail, but I think this one succeeds with just the right amount of darkness. A rising star congresswoman is corrupted by a mind controller on the behalf of big industry. BronzeMirror writes the politicking side of the story with enough detail to be convincing while never letting it bog down the heat. Excellent mental transformations with some good struggle along the way, satisfying serial recruitments, and a welcome focus on clothing to boot.
Listening to Jack by Mister Arioch
A long running series that is unfortunately unfinished but well worth reading. A young man attempts a massive takeover using mind controlling earbuds, with his brainwashed sister as the point of view. As the story progresses, Jack gets in over his head as he takes bigger and bigger bites of the apple, but our adoring narrator is clearly an insufficient/unreliable perspective into his mistakes. The reader has just enough information to follow Jack’s schemes without it ever needing to be over-explained. I love how the mind control is written as color coded triggers in the brainwashed narrator’s head, and that device makes for some very hot scenes of resistance and succumbing.
