I am a millennial cis man, and I have been reading the MC Story Archive for almost two decades. I discovered a lot of kinks that bring me pleasure by reading the archive. It also helped me learn what kinks just didn’t do it for me. I love covert hypnosis. It’s hot to see the villain change the way a person behaves without her consent, or even without her notice.

My biggest kink is robbing a victim of her agency. Nothing dramatic at first. Instead, it’s about subtly undermining the victim. Gradually she loses her ability to act independently, until she is reduced to a ive sex object. It doesn’t have to be completely realistic, but it should be plausible and believable. The emotional response to her own transformation is key. The smutty scenes are the fun payoff, but the journey to get there establishes the stakes and makes it arousing. Having a naked sex slave on her knees or back is hot; how she was manoeuvred into that position gives it pathos.Other kinks should work in harmony with that central theme. Among others, I enjoy stories that include outfit control, some humiliation, forced bi, light bondage, orgasm control and denial, and light physical punishments (like spanking). Domestication and bimbofication are also hot. Another big fetish of mine is serial recruitment, where the villain transforms someone the victim trusts into a puppet, then uses her to corrupt the victim. So far, I’ve talked about the victims as women, but I also enjoy femdom stories with male victims too. I read stories that are MF, FF, or male with multiple females.

Relapse

Jukebox is one of my favourite authors, and I could list dozens of stories from them. They can establish a scene and emotional stakes in only a few paragraphs that other authors take chapters to write. This one is a good example, with a victim trying to get away from a bad habit, but instead falling back into temptation again.

Indentured Servant Welfare

Rilawild is also a fun author, and I wish we saw more from them. Hannah stumbles upon corruption and gets what she thinks is a promotion for uncovering it. Instead, she becomes an unwitting victim and falls prey to the people she’s supposed to audit. Synaptic Virus did a rewrite with permission about 9 years later that is also worth reading: Tour the Facility

The Goblin King

Written before the Goblin Slayer was published, I think this story is much better. Imperator Mentus has other stories that also scratch my kinks in a pleasurable way, but the systematic betrayal at the heart of this story makes it one that I come back to repeatedly.

Party Wipe

Like the Goblin King, this is another story set in a fantasy world inspired by the popular tabletop game. I especially like the horrible realization by the adventurers that they have gotten in over their heads, but it’s too late to escape.

Legacy (trilby else)

Trilby Else is an old favourite of this website, with many of his stories being picked by other readers. This was the last story he published here, and I am shocked it wasn’t on anyone’s list. The mother’s failure to protect her daughter is such delicious shame. Softi reused that theme to write Rekindled, another story worth ready.

Mother Knows Best (softi)

Speaking of Softi, I like many of their stories too. I selected this one because it’s about two dominants battling each other to see who becomes the mistress and who becomes the slave. The story feels like it can go either way until the very end, but the ending feels inevitable. I especially enjoyed the humiliation of the loser at the end.

Capes and Crepes

Superheroine stories definitely work for me. The battle between the villain and the superheroine, and her own acceptance of his rules for fighting, is both campy and very hot. It’s a bit more light-hearted than the other stories I’ve selected, and is a delight.

The Fall Of Women

On the opposite end of the spectrum are the dark ending of stories by Alecta’s Shadow. The protagonists are doomed, but they fight their fate futilely. Eventually, the compulsion to surrender becomes too much, and they cross the threshold into lesser than, forever. Alecta’s Shadow has many stories, but this one is one of the first published on the site and started a whole series.
