I’ve been reading erotic stories online for about as long as the EMCSA has been around. I treat it as an escape from real life, so I like stories involving magic or technology that probably couldn’t exist in real life, and maybe even things I wouldn’t want to happen in real life. Extra points if there’s physical transformation involved (I do look at the Recent Additions list every week for the “gr” tag), or if there’s an alteration to reality that creates a sexier Earth, or just one sexier woman.
Limerick has a number of excellent stories in which characters deal with viruses that cause mental and physical changes (see Endorphins or Share Alike), but this epic instead has characters facing the whims of a near-omnipotent incel. There’s plenty of my favorite physical transformation (breast enlargement), and plenty of other action that hits my buttons (ongoing clothing transformations to make everyone’s wardrobe sexier).
The Master PC concept is one that’s basically tailor-made for my interests. This fairly quick read is a favorite example: man alters his wife, man perhaps goes a little too far and makes a crucial mistake, man tries to clean things up, man moves forward in a sexier future.
The woman in this story doesn’t really deserve the curse that’s placed on her, but that can be overlooked because of how hot the mental and physical changes are. This is another one that includes all-too-rare clothing transformations with detailed descriptions.
Although it probably counts as a period piece now (when is the last time anyone was desperate to play a game of Bejeweled?), this is an effective story in which a woman inadvertently alters her own reality.
The device in this one is basically a less powerful version of Master PC. There’s plenty of physical transformation, especially if you consider pregnancy to count as physical transformation.
Gary the Incubus and the Case of Sad Zach — Menoetes
I’ll it that this is basically pure wish fulfillment for me, although I’m not quite as sad as Sad Zach.
A Day — Somebody You Don’t Know
There’s ittedly not much conflict in “omnipotent stranger changes random people” stories, but the best contain some imaginative reality alterations, and that’s the case here.
This one is basically just pure reality-altering hijinks, with some wild changes that are apparently affecting the entire planet. It’s unfortunate that this author only made this one EMCSA contribution.
Tisiphone — SapphireBlueHearts
Unfortunately, this seems to have been abandoned by the author without a conclusion. What’s there, though, has a great buildup from “doing a few things to make the main character’s life a little easier” to “altering reality based on what they think the main character would want.”
A Little Pink Camera — Lawrence Loft
This is another story that’s sadly been left unfinished, along with its companions A Little Blue Camera and Little Orange Camera. A bit unusual because the reality alterations are the work of an inanimate object with a mind of its own, adhering to certain rules it was programmed with, helped along by humans who don’t fully understand what’s going on.
