I have been reading the archive for about 12ish years now. I generally prefer male/female stories with a female dominant lean but am open to just about anything, including male dominant, mm, & ff as long as it has good writing. I also really like object dominant/alien/parasite/robott stories.
I generally like longer, slow build well developed stories, with clear setting, character, plots, story archs and character development etc. I especially like ones where the hypnotist slowly over time increases control over the hypnotized almost unnoticed until its too late, along with other forms of reality manipulation. I generally prefer more gentler subtle forms of control over anything violent/brutal/rapid.
Going off that, I also really enjoy conspiracy like reads where some bad entity is secretly out to control everyone en mass and has some nefarious agenda even outside the sexual aspect. Going off that I really enjoy serial recruitment, stuff where someone hypnotized betrays and helps enslave someone else, couples/multiple people being controlled together, and stories where people realize what’s going on and try to break free and all that jazz.
My Mental Block by Yoursandman
I love the slow build of the therapist slowly increasing her control over the patient and her change of targets as the story progresses.
A very long story & complex plot involving multiple different villains, heroes, very good writing, steamy control scenes, and a happy ending. One of the best conspiracy stories out there.
The Music of the Mountains by Amos Cobblestone
Love how the camp tourguide slowly divides and conquers to take control of this group of hikers with an unknown power.
Normally not into MM but the writing is excellent and the gender bending aspect of it is something rarely seen and very well done in this, making it one of my favorite stories.
Long, detailed story of an insidious corporation slowly taking over a nuclear family. Excellent control and reality manipulation scenes.
Slow build coworkers to lovers story, slow build with a ton of tension and the hypnotist finding excellent subtle ways to flex control.
One of the best new stories. The fact the hypnotist only unexpectedly came upon this power makes it interesting especially as she wraggles with increasing conflict between doing what’s right or dealing with the fallout of what she wants.
Borderline cuck like story where the victim unexpectedly finds himself in the middle of a massive conspiracy and tries to save his wife.
Headspace by Doc Flibertygibbet
Classic robot/drone story. Control is taken on fast but full consequences and behavior changes occur slowly over time.
Another robot story. Simple premise but very excellently done as nanobots rapidly takes control of a swim team.
