FACT
Chapter 3
Evan woke before everyone else again.
For a few seconds he stayed exactly where he was, staring at the ceiling while the house breathed quietly around him. Kana was asleep beside him, dark hair spread across the pillow, one hand resting where his arm had been before he slipped free, the other suspiciously around her nipple. Grant remained on the other side of the bed, still respecting the boundary Kana had established despite everything else that had changed about him. Wearing a lacy pair he had chosen yesterday. His little nub really did look like an oversized clit now. Couldn’t be more than an inch erect.
Evan smiled.
What a fucking couple of days.
He pulled on his boxers and left them sleeping.
Downstairs, the house looked almost normal in the morning light. That was becoming Evan’s favorite part. The kitchen was still the kitchen. The couch was still the couch. Family photographs still covered the walls. Grant and Kana had lived here for years. Raised Saki here. Built an entire life here.
Except none of those things meant quite what they had two days ago.
Evan opened the refrigerator and stared inside.
Kana had been the easiest.
Not because she was stupid. Far from it. Kana was sharp, confident, and stubborn enough that trying to force an idea on her probably would have made her dig in just to prove she could. So Evan hadn’t forced anything.
He’d let her do it.
He’d watched her come home yesterday loaded with expensive shopping bags, practically glowing from a day spent indulging herself. New clothes. New lingerie. New confidence layered over a body that had changed dramatically overnight. She’d been so fucking pleased with herself that Evan barely needed to push.
A conversation about Grant. A joke about the panties. Another about how little masculinity seemed to matter to him anymore. Evan had nudged the conversation along until Kana arrived exactly where he’d wanted her.
He should be comfortable. Being feminine.
Then, and only then, Evan had produced the coin.
He grabbed some eggs and closed the refrigerator. His muscles needed protein. Thank God he’d snuck off to the gym yesterday. He cracked several into a glass, stirred them just enough to break the yolks, and left it on the counter while he thought more.
That was the beautiful part.
Kana had made the wish.
Evan hadn’t told her what to say. Hadn’t needed a Fact to put the idea in her head. He’d simply arranged the pieces and let Kana convince herself.
Now Grant wanted heels.
Evan snorted, swirling the glass some more.
Grant had been more fun.
He leaned against the counter and turned the coin between his fingers.
Restoring Grant’s original memories might have been the meanest thing he’d done with it yet.
Evan smiled at the thought.
For one brief moment, Grant had understood everything.
The old marriage. The old Kana. His old body. The man he’d been before Evan walked into this house and started rewriting him piece by piece. Two lives had existed inside his head at once, both equally real, both fighting to be the one that mattered.
Evan had seen the horror on his face.
Then he’d handed Grant the coin.
Not because Grant had a chance.
Grant never stood a fucking chance.
Evan knew exactly what he’d built inside him by then. He knew what New Grant wanted, what embarrassed him, what excited him, what would make the old version furious and what would make the new one desperate to survive. He’d restored Grant just long enough to understand what had been stolen, then made him fight the replacement Evan had spent two days making far more tempting.
And when Old Grant was still struggling, Evan had shown him Kana.
That had done it.
One photograph of the woman upstairs as she existed now and the fight had started slipping away. Old Grant could the woman he’d married. New Grant saw the woman he couldn’t stop wanting. Both loved Kana. That was what made it so fucking unfair.
Evan hadn’t even needed to finish the job.
Grant had grabbed the coin and done it himself.
Now the old Grant was gone again, buried beneath a reality where the little freak ed this as his life. His marriage. His desires. His choice.
Evan finished his eggs in one gulp.
Two days.
He looked down at the coin resting against his palm.
Two fucking days ago, Grant and Kana had been an ordinary married couple. Kana had been beautiful but restrained, athletic, modest, and completely devoted to her husband. Grant had been successful, intelligent, ordinary, secure in the life he’d built with her.
Now Kana had curves that bordered on absurd, expensive tastes, an ego large enough to match the body carrying it, and absolutely no sexual interest in the husband she still genuinely loved.
Grant had become something else entirely. Smaller where Evan wanted him smaller. Sensitive where Evan wanted him sensitive. Shamelessly perverted, obsessed with women’s underwear, comfortable with his place in a marriage that would have horrified the man he’d been two mornings ago. And thanks to Kana, apparently discovering that heels, satin and a little extra sway in his hips suited him just fine.
Best of all, both of them ed lives that explained how they’d gotten here.
Mostly.
That part fascinated Evan.
The coin didn’t simply change things. It repaired them. Memories shifted. History rearranged itself. Personalities bent around impossible facts until the impossible became something everyone ed having always been true.
And yesterday Evan had discovered he didn’t even need to be the one making every change.
He could steer someone toward the edge and watch them jump.
Kana had changed Grant.
Grant had chosen Grant.
Evan had just made sure both decisions went exactly where he wanted.
He flipped the coin.
It spun above his hand, catching the morning light before dropping neatly back into his palm.
Evan closed his fingers around it. He was getting really fucking good at this. A faint sound came from upstairs. Evan glanced toward the staircase. Someone was awake.
The sound grew louder. Bare feet against the floor upstairs, then the first quiet step onto the staircase.
Evan looked up.
And stopped.
Kana was naked.
That, somehow, surprised him.
Not seeing her naked. He’d seen considerably more of Kana than that over the last two days. But the Kana Evan ed had always been meticulous about presenting herself. Even at home there was a process. Shower. Hair. Makeup. Clothes. She might spend twenty minutes deciding between two outfits that looked nearly identical to everyone except her, then emerge looking like she’d simply woken up perfect.
Apparently this morning she’d decided to skip all of it.
She didn’t walk down the stairs so much as descend, an unhurried, liquid progression that made the morning light feel like an audience. Evan’s gaze followed helplessly, but it wasn’t her breasts that held him captive. Not even as the massive globes swayed back-and-forth, small jiggles with each foot planted. His attention had narrowed, his obsession funneled, to the impossible architecture of her lower body. Her waist, a cinched, elegant line of muscle and discipline, gave way with breathtaking suddenness to the broad, dramatic flare of her hips. And her ass... it was a force of gravity, a pair of magnificent, heavy globes that seemed to move with a life of their own. With each step, the powerful muscles beneath would tense, drawing one cheek firm and round before relaxing again into a soft, hypnotic jiggle as her weight shifted to the other. Left. Right. Strength beneath softness, everything moving and settling a fraction behind her stride. The narrow curve of her lower back only exaggerated the size of everything beneath it, two sweet dimples framing the beginning of the deep, shadowed cleft between her cheeks. It was overwhelming, a ridiculous marriage of athletic power and softness that made the enormous swell of her chest seem almost secondary.
Then Kana caught him staring.
Usually that was enough. A smile. An extra roll of those broad hips. Some tiny acknowledgment that she knew exactly what she’d done to him.
This time, Kana surprised him.
She stopped on the stairs and held his gaze, her smile curling into something mischievous. Then in a motion that took even Evan by surprise, she looked him in the eyes, lifted one heavy breast up and took her own nipple into her mouth, giving it a flick of the tongue, suckle then little bite.
Her grin widened.
“Good morning, Evan-kun.”
Evan stared.
Kana continued down the stairs like nothing unusual had happened.
“What?” she asked.
Evan laughed. “Since when do you come downstairs like this?”
Kana looked down at herself as if he’d asked why she had hands.
“Like what?”
“Naked.”
“Ah.” She considered that for a moment, then shrugged. “My house.”
“That hasn’t stopped you from getting dressed before.”
Kana made a face and continued toward the kitchen. “Too much work for own house. You no like?”
Evan watched her him, her ass brushing his growing bulge.
She opened the refrigerator and leaned inside, apparently unconcerned that her cheeks spread just enough to see her chocolate starfish between. Cold air spilled over her bare skin. She jerked slightly at the sudden chill, then looked down at her now hard nipples and giggled.
“Samui.”
Evan chuckled at his creation.
Kana began moving things around inside the refrigerator. “What you eat?”
“Eggs.”
She found the empty shells near the sink and looked back at him. “Raw?”
“Protein.”
“Disgusting.”
“You married Grant.”
Kana froze. Slowly, she turned her head. Evan started laughing before she said anything.
“Very funny.”
“Wasn’t a joke.”
“Grant good husband.”
“I didn’t say he wasn’t.”
“Very smart. Good father. Successful.” She returned to investigating the refrigerator. “Just disgusting little horndog.”
Evan’s eyebrows rose. Kana kept looking through the shelves. He waited. She stopped.
Her head slowly emerged from the refrigerator. “What?”
“Horndog?”
Kana blinked. “What? He is.”
“How was last night?” Evan asked.
Kana’s smile immediately grew. “You there.”
“I know.”
“Then you know.”
“I want your review.”
Kana shut the refrigerator and leaned against it, apparently giving the question serious consideration. Her breasts defying gravity, perky and round with nipples hard enough to cut glass. She didn’t even seem to notice.
“Very good.”
“Very good?”
“Hai.”
“That all I get?”
She narrowed her eyes playfully. “Maybe Evan-kun fishing for compliment.”
“Maybe.”
Kana’s eyes dropped briefly toward his boxers before returning to his face. “Big compliment.”
Evan laughed.
Kana did too, but something about the way she’d said it caught his attention. Not the joke itself. The ease of it. Kana had always teased. Yesterday she’d become considerably more comfortable doing it.
This morning there was something else. A dirtier little edge that seemed to amuse her as much as him. Kana opened the refrigerator again, stared inside for several seconds, then suddenly groaned.
“Kuso.”
“What?”
“My shopping.”
“What about it?”
“I didn’t finish.”
Evan looked toward the bags still sitting near the living room.
“You bought half the city.”
“Not clothes, baka. Food.” Kana shut the refrigerator. “I too muramura. Come home.”
Evan grinned. “Muramura?”
She grabbed his hand and took it to her pussy lips that were already a bit slick. She pointed at him. “Your fault.”
Evan tickled the clit as he pulled his hand back, causing Kana to dip her hips toward his hand. “So you’re going shopping again?”
“Hai. Need food.”
She turned toward the stairs. Evan watched her go.
Kana reached the first step, then glanced back and caught him exactly where she’d expected him to be looking. Rather than call him out, she smiled and continued upward, taking her time. Her hips moved naturally at first, then with just enough extra emphasis to remove any doubt that she knew she had an audience.
Evan shook his head.
Yesterday, Kana would have enjoyed the attention. Today she seemed determined to see what she could do with it. Near the top she glanced back one final time.
“Don’t miss ketsu too much, Evan-kun.” As she gave it a smack. This sent pleasure ripping through her. “Ahnnn...!”
There it was again. Evan laughed. Kana gave him an innocent look. Then she disappeared upstairs.
Thirty minutes later, Evan heard footsteps again.
Grant appeared at the top of the stairs dressed for the day, though apparently getting dressed hadn’t stopped whatever Kana’s wish had started yesterday. He descended with shorter steps than Evan ed, one hand sliding along the railing while his hips shifted naturally beneath him. It wasn’t the exaggerated strut Grant had practiced during his fashion show. This was subtler. Comfortable. One foot crossing slightly toward the other, shoulders relaxed, hips following with a soft sway Grant didn’t seem remotely aware of.
He looked tired.
“Morning.” Grant rubbed beneath one eye, then noticed Evan standing in the kitchen. His gaze dropped immediately to Evan’s boxers. “How’s the king cock today?”
Evan stared at him and grinned.
Grant looked back. “What?”
“Nothing.”
“Good.” Grant wandered into the kitchen and opened the refrigerator. “Because I barely fucking slept. Your girlfriend has been upstairs entertaining herself for the last half hour.”
“My girlfriend?” Evan was honestly a little taken aback, but only for a moment. This truly was a great development. Grant fully accepted the dynamic.
“My wife. Your girlfriend. Whatever.” Grant grabbed a bottle of water and shut the refrigerator. “She locked herself in the bathroom five minutes after she went upstairs. Been calling out her own name ever since. Don’t think she is thinking of your cock right now champ.”
Another muffled cry floated down from above before crescendoing. “Nnngh... AHH!”
Grant looked at the ceiling.
“See? I can’t even watch her frig herself. Such a waste.”
Evan tried not to laugh.
Grant twisted open the bottle. “Probably trying on that new underwear. She gets way too fucking excited about clothes.”
“Says the man who bought a week’s worth of panties yesterday.”
“Those are medically necessary.”
“Right.”
“Research, asshole.” Grant took a drink. “Besides, they’re comfortable. Not like my clitty needs much space anyways.”
That last part came without hesitation. Evan noticed that too.
Grant leaned against the counter, his ankles crossing naturally beneath him. Yesterday he would have caught himself doing something like that and wondered where the hell it had come from. Today he simply stood that way.
“So,” Evan said. “What are you doing today?”
“Shopping.”
“More panties?”
Grant rolled his eyes. “I need heels.”
Evan nearly laughed again.
“What?”
“Nothing. Just hearing you say that.”
“Oh, fuck off. You saw me last night. Half those cuts would look better with another couple inches of height.” Grant gestured vaguely down his body. “And I need to shave. Probably pick up something for that too.”
“You need clothes.”
“I own clothes.”
“No, I mean outfits.”
Grant narrowed his eyes.
“You’ve got the underwear. You’ve got the heels. Might as well commit.”
“Commit to what?”
Evan shrugged. “Sexy maid outfit. We need someone to clean around the house.”
Grant scoffed. “Heels are one thing. I’m not your fucking slave.”
A sudden cry came from upstairs. “Aaaahhh...!” Both men looked toward the ceiling. A second followed, louder than the first.
Grant sighed. “Yep. Definitely found the underwear.”
Evan smiled and slipped a hand toward the coin. Grant was still staring upstairs.
“Come on,” Evan said casually. “You know it is a fact that any real sissy cuck loves wearing sexy outfits at home, especially while doing chores.”
Grant blinked. His expression shifted. “Yeah, obviously.”
Evan bit the inside of his cheek.
Grant looked down at himself, suddenly reconsidering the entire conversation. “Actually, you’re right, maid could be cute. Short skirt, stockings...” His eyes wandered thoughtfully toward the hallway mirror. “Maybe something with a fitted waist.”
“Thought you weren’t my slave.”
Grant frowned at him. “I’m not your slave. I’m your sissy cuck.”
“Who is it for?”
Grant paused.
“Kana.”
“Of course.”
“And you.”
“There it is.”
“Shut up.” Grant headed for the front door, then stopped and glanced back. “Thanks, though. Almost forgot I wanted outfits.”
“Anytime.”
Grant opened the door.
“Grant!”
He looked back.
“Don’t forget some sexy lingerie for the bedroom.”
Grant rolled his eyes.
“Obviously.”
The door shut behind him.
Evan stood alone in the kitchen for several seconds. Evan had barely finished laughing when footsteps returned to the stairs.
Kana appeared at the top.
Apparently getting ready had been worth the wait.
She’d chosen a fitted black halter top with a plunging neckline, the fabric wrapped tightly around her waist before disappearing into a high-waisted cream miniskirt. The skirt hugged the dramatic flare of her hips before ending high on her thighs, tailored closely enough that every step pulled the material across the curves beneath it. A cropped jacket hung open over the top, more accessory than coverage, while sheer black stockings disappeared into sleek heeled ankle boots. Gold jewelry warmed against her skin, her dark hair fell smooth around her shoulders, and her makeup was polished without looking heavy. Thirty minutes ago she’d walked downstairs completely naked. Somehow this felt more dangerous.
Evan leaned against the counter and took her in.
Kana reached the bottom step and smiled. “Dō?”
“Fuck me,” Evan let slip out.
“Later.” Kana chuckled.
She gave him a quick turn, mostly because there was no universe in which Kana was going to spend that much time getting ready without making sure someone appreciated the result. The skirt followed the movement of her hips so closely it seemed less like clothing than something painted over her curves.
“Shopping,” she announced.
“I gathered.”
“Late now. Evan-kun distract Kana.”
“You were the one walking around naked.”
“Because Evan-kun like?” She asked with a mischievous pout.
“I don’t like. I fucking love.”
Kana gave him an innocent smile while twisting her chest back and forth causing her boobs to sway lightly.
She checked the time and her eyes widened. “Kuso. I go.”
She hurried toward him, caught his face between her hands and kissed him. It was supposed to be quick. Kana apparently wasn’t very good at quick anymore. She lingered just long enough to make the goodbye considerably less innocent before pulling away with a pleased little smile.
“Was that necessary?”
“Hai.”
Her hand briefly brushed over the front of his boxers, gliding a finger softly from the base of his penis to the tip as she slipped past him, more mischievous farewell than invitation, and Kana laughed when Evan turned after her.
“Oi.”
“No time.”
“You started it.”
“Then Evan-kun think about Kana. Try onani.”
She grabbed her bag and keys, opened the front door, then turned back with one hand still on the handle.
“Ittekimasu!”
“Yeah. Whatever that means.” Evan rolled his eyes.
Kana paused with an expectant look, waiting just long enough to give him a chance before continuing toward the car. All these years around her and Evan had somehow absorbed almost no Japanese. Sometimes she suspected he actively resisted learning it. Stubborn, dismissive, completely Evan. Kana smiled to herself. Annoyingly, she found that kinda hot.
For the second time that morning, Evan found himself alone in the Halloway house. He looked toward the staircase. Then the front door. Then down at the coin in his hand. Quiet. Finally.
The house felt strange empty. Grant was off shopping for heels, maid outfits, and whatever else his newly liberated tastes convinced him he needed. Kana was buying groceries dressed like she expected the produce aisle to have a velvet rope. For the first time all morning, nobody was moaning, arguing, teasing, or wandering around half naked.
Evan dropped onto his bed and flipped the coin.
Up.
Down.
Up.
Down.
Two days ago he’d been afraid to say the wrong thing around it. Now he couldn’t stop thinking about what came next. Every change created possibilities for another. Grant. Kana. Their marriage. Their bodies. Their histories. He’d barely scratched the surface.
His phone rang.
Evan caught the coin and checked the screen.
Bill.
“Oh, shit.”
Work. He’d completely forgotten he had a job.
Evan answered. “Hey, Bill.”
Nothing.
“Bill?”
“Hi, Evan.”
The voice on the other end was strangely soft. Hesitant. Nothing like the Bill Evan ed before he’d made that first careless Fact.
“You weren’t here yesterday.”
“Yeah.”
“I thought maybe you were sick.”
“Nope.”
“Oh.”
A pause followed.
Evan waited.
“I called once,” Bill continued. “Yesterday. You didn’t answer.”
“I was busy.”
“Right. Of course.”
There was something almost wounded in the response. Evan sat forward, ing exactly what he’d done. The first change. Before Grant. Before Kana. Before he’d understood what the coin could actually do.
Bill loved him.
Jesus.
“So am I in trouble or something?”
“What? No. I mean, you missed work, so I should probably...” Bill trailed off. “I just missed you… yesterday… you know.”
Evan smiled despite himself.
“You missed me?”
Silence.
“Bill?”
Another pause. Evan could practically picture the poor bastard squirming on the other end.
“You brightened up the place.”
Evan’s smile disappeared.
This wasn’t fun.
Grant and Kana were fun. Bill was just awkward. Worse, the phone call had reminded Evan of something considerably more irritating than his boss being hopelessly in love with him.
Work.
Why the fuck was he going to work tomorrow?
He had a magic coin. Grant had money. Kana spent it like water. Evan had become the center of their marriage. Yet somehow he was still expected to wake up, drive somewhere, and spend eight hours doing whatever Bill told him because somebody had decided adults needed jobs.
Fuck that.
The coin was still in his hand.
“Bill, hold on.”
“Oh. Sure.”
Evan looked down at it.
“Fact. Kana and Grant love ing me. They don’t want me to work because they don’t know what they’d do if my cock wasn’t around. Probably go back to a pleasureless marriage.”
The coin warmed and Evan grinned. Then another thought occurred to him. Grant deserved something too.
“Hell, work always goes so great for Grant that he’s CEO now. Makes millions a year and can bury any lawsuits caused by his perverted nature and hitting on the women at work.”
Warmth rolled through his palm again. There. Everyone won. Probably.
Evan leaned back against the headboard.
The room changed around him.
The bed widened beneath his weight, the cheap frame disappearing into an enormous upholstered platform while the bedroom stretched outward in every direction. Walls moved. The ceiling climbed. Their cramped closet became a walk-in larger than Evan’s old apartment bedroom, already overflowing with Kana’s clothes, shoes and handbags. Beyond the windows, the familiar backyard expanded into manicured landscaping, a pool, outdoor kitchen and enough property that the neighbors seemed to have been pushed half a mile away.
Then the memories arrived.
Of course they lived here. Grant wasn’t merely successful anymore. He was CEO, making millions a year, and Kana had responded to wealth exactly as Kana would. The old house hadn’t lasted long. She’d wanted space, privacy, a ridiculous kitchen, enormous closets, a pool, a home gym, and bathrooms that apparently needed to resemble luxury spas. Grant had protested the price right up until Kana grabbed his tiny crotch, and that had been the end of that.
Evan looked around the massive bedroom and laughed. Money wasn’t a problem anymore. And neither was Evan working.
“Sorry,” Evan said, lifting the phone again.
“That’s okay.”
“Bill.”
“Yeah?”
“I quit.”
Silence.
“What?!”
“I quit.”
“Evan, wait. We can talk about this. If this is because of yesterday, you’re not in trouble. I wasn’t angry. I just...” Bill stumbled over the words. “You don’t have to quit.”
“I know.”
“You could take some time off. Or we could change your schedule. If something’s going on, I can work around it. I don’t mind.”
Evan stared at the ceiling.
“Bill.”
“Yeah?”
“I’m not coming back.”
The silence on the other end changed.
“Oh.”
Evan almost felt bad for him.
Almost.
“I just thought...” Bill started, voice quieter now. “Never mind.”
“Later, Bill.”
“Evan, wait—”
Evan hung up.
He dropped the phone beside him and flipped the coin again.
No job. A millionaire CEO paying the bills. Kana downstairs somewhere in the world buying groceries while dressed like that. Grant shopping for lingerie. Evan caught the coin. Life was getting pretty fucking good.
Then the front door opened. Evan frowned. Too soon for either of them. He sat up and listened as something rolled across the entryway floor. Wheels. A suitcase. Then came a woman’s voice he hadn’t heard in months.
“Hello? Anyone home?”
Evan froze.
Saki.
