Bathsheba Ch.4
They didn’t let go until they got to Marisa’s parking lot. Raul had brought his motorcycle.
“Get on,” he said.
Maya hesitated. Motorcycles had always seemed dangerous to her. Too fast. Too exposed.
“Is it safe?” she asked, her voice tenser than she wanted.
“Depends.”
“Depends on what?”
“On the driver. Do you trust me?”
He looked her in the eyes. Maya felt something loosen inside her.
“Yes,” she murmured.
She looked at the motorcycle again. From a certain angle, it looked like a stallion. A wild animal, black and shiny, with a gallant knight riding it.
“Don’t worry,” he said, his voice soft. “I’ll go slow.”
Maya smiled. She walked up to the motorcycle. She lifted her leg to get on, feeling her clothes stretch over her thighs.
And then, the pain.
It was a long sting in her rear. Right in the center of her ass. A pain she didn’t expect, didn’t understand, that stole her breath for a second.
She bit her lip to keep from making any noise. Her hand gripped the motorcycle seat harder than necessary.
Raul looked at her over his shoulder.
“You okay?”
Maya nodded too fast.
“Yeah, yeah. Just getting comfortable.”
She shifted again. Another sting. Stronger this time. Almost a burning.
Why did it hurt so much? She didn’t falling. She didn’t hitting herself.
Maya finally sat down. The pain spread through her ass, pressing against the motorcycle seat.
“Hold on tight,” Raul said.
Maya wrapped her arms around his waist. She felt his warmth through his jacket. She rested her cheek on his back and closed her eyes.
The motorcycle started moving.
The wind hit her face, tossing her hair. They were going slow, like Raul had promised, but every bump, every curve, every small movement turned into a sting in her ass. A burning.
She said nothing.
When they got to the hotel, Maya walked with her legs apart.
“Looks like a nice place,” Raul commented.
“Looks expensive,” she replied. But she wasn’t looking at the place. She was wondering what Bree and Steven were doing right now.
“Don’t worry. I’ll pay.”
“You don’t have to.”
“I insist.”
He took her hand and led her to the lobby. It was huge, with marble floors. Raul told her to sit down; he knew the perfect room.
He came back five minutes later with keys.
“Want to go to dinner?” he asked. “The receptionist told me there’s a nice restaurant nearby... or we could order room service.”
Maya’s heart started racing.
“I don’t know, Raul...” she said, in a flash of clarity.
“Is something wrong?”
“No. It’s just that maybe I should go home.”
“Did I do something wrong?”
“No, of course not,” she said, touching his cheek.
“Did you not like it?”
“Of course I did.”
“Then what’s the problem?”
“I’m a married woman, I’m a mother...” A tear came out. She lowered her head.
Raul stayed quiet. There was an awkward silence.
“Are you mad?” she asked.
“No,” he shook his head, but he wasn’t looking at her.
“I’m sorry. You’re really amazing, but...”
“It’s okay,” he whispered. “It’s okay.”
“I’ll call an Uber.”
“No,” Raul said. “It’s fine. I can take you home.”
“No, really. I can go alone.”
“I’ll take you. But... would you do me a favor?”
“Anything.”
“Let me take you to dinner before we go.”
“Raul, you don’t have to spend your money like that.”
“I want to.”
“Okay...”
“But first,” he said. “Do you mind if we go to the room? I need internet to send some stuff. The wifi here is terrible.”
Maya hesitated for a second.
“I promise nothing will happen,” he assured her.
When they got to the room, Maya stayed by the door. Raul disappeared.
“Raul?” she called after two minutes.
No one answered.
“Everything okay?” she said, walking toward the bedroom.
The bed was covered in rose petals. There was a bottle of champagne and two glasses on the table. But Raul wasn’t there.
She turned back to the door. She jumped a little.
Raul was right behind her.
“What are you...?”
Raul leaned into her ear.
“Bunnies love shoving eggs up their asses.”
Maya fell to the floor. Raul was too mad to catch her.
Then he clapped.
She opened her eyes.
“Maya, can you hear me?”
“Yes,” she answered mechanically.
“We’re going to have an emergency practice. Just you and me.”
“But...” she started to stammer. Her gaze was lost. “I have to go home.”
“Maya, you’ve committed to the company. You can’t shirk your responsibilities.”
“But...”
“No buts. You’re going to act. Do you understand?”
“I understand.”
“Lie down,” he ordered.
Maya stumbled, but she made it to the bed. She made pained gestures as she got into position.
“I’ll be back in a while. I need some things for the practice. Stay there, looking at the wall. Don’t lose sight of it. Understood?”
“Understood.”
Raul took two hours. He slammed the door when he got back. He was carrying a big paper bag.
He sat on the bed.
“Do you know Pasiphae?” he started. He pulled out a huge roll of tape from the bag.
“No,” Maya said.
“Two hundred years before Bathsheba, her soul had incarnated in a queen named Pasiphae.”
He pulled out a monstrous dildo from the bag. It was called the tidal wave. It measured about thirty centimeters. It was for naughty girls, and today Maya was going to be one. Whether she wanted to or not.
“Pasiphae was married to the King of Crete, Stevon. Her life was sad and boring. But one day, the god Apollo sent a beautiful bull to the shores of her island. And Pasiphae was fascinated by the animal. Especially by this,” he said, holding the dildo up in front of her. “Do you know what it is?”
“A dildo?”
“No. It’s the bull’s member.”
“Oh.”
“Feel it. What does it remind you of?”
“Mmm...”
“Go into the memories of Bathsheba and Isolde,” he ordered. “Feel the size. Whose have been the biggest you’ve felt?”
Maya thought for a moment, caressing the dildo.
“David’s!” she shouted, excited. “My Tristan’s!”
“Good. Now you know who the bull’s soul is.”
Maya nodded, excited.
“Now let’s practice.”
Pasiphae:
She was hiding behind an oddly soft rock. She’d been iring the magnificent animal for half an hour. He was grazing.
Maya:
She’d been staring at the headboard for half an hour. She was kneeling, her arms resting on the mattress.
Pasiphae:
She was already wearing the suit Daedalus had given her. A leather suit that clung to her body. It was white with black spots. It left her breasts exposed so the bull would know she had udders too. And, of course, her crotch was free.
Maya:
She was naked, though she was wearing a cheap plastic headband: cow ears. Raul had found them at the first costume store he walked into.
Pasiphae:
The animal didn’t move.
Maya:
The wall didn’t move.
Pasiphae:
The bull was huge. White as the moon, with long horns and eyes too human for an animal. He’d winked at her more than once. There was a hidden god seducing her. Waiting for her.
Maya:
Raul had drawn two circles on the wall with crayon, and some long perpendicular lines.
Pasiphae:
But what caught her attention the most, from the first moment she saw him, was his enormous penis.
Maya:
Raul had taped the dildo to the headboard.
Pasiphae:
She slowly climbed the hill.
Maya:
She clumsily climbed onto the bed.
Pasiphae:
She felt the warmth of the sun on her back.
Maya:
The hotel lamp was shining right on her neck.
Pasiphae:
He was already erect. He was always erect for her.
Maya:
It was a dildo.
Pasiphae:
She started to court him, circling around him. She lowered her head shamelessly, letting her ass rise. But the animal didn’t move.
Maya:
It was a wall and a dildo.
Pasiphae:
She backed up toward him. The animal let out a snort that almost made her jump. But she didn’t stop until she felt the tip of the animal pressing against her body.
Maya:
The dildo brushed her ass. It slid down the crack, forcing its way between her flesh, until the tip found the entrance to her vagina.
Pasiphae:
She breathed, prayed a little, and kept going.
Maya:
The tip pressed against her vaginal lips. The skin stretched. Then it entered.
Pasiphae:
It was big.
Maya:
Too big.
Pasiphae:
It entered.
Maya:
It entered.
Pasiphae:
It was hot and throbbing.
Maya:
It was cold and plastic.
Pasiphae:
The bull had only gone in a centimeter, but that was enough to feel its strength.
Maya:
It was like someone was shoving a fist inside her.
Pasiphae:
She moaned.
Maya:
She panted.
Pasiphae:
The bull went in another centimeter. She felt like she was finally alive.
Maya:
She was crying. Tears came out on their own.
Pasiphae:
The bull had thrust into her. Her hands sank into the ground, tearing up some grass around her.
Maya:
Raul had pushed her in deeper. It was like she was being opened from the inside.
Pasiphae:
The bull let out a long moan. It was the most beautiful sound she had ever heard in her life.
Maya:
She was screaming.
Pasiphae:
The bull pushed even deeper. She spread her legs wider.
Maya:
Her legs were shaking.
Pasiphae:
“Give me everything,” she begged.
Maya:
Her body started to shake.
Pasiphae:
The god started thrusting into her harder.
Maya:
Her vagina was contracting.
Pasiphae:
The god, fearing that the queen’s moans would wake up all the Cretans, gently placed a golden cloth over her so the noise wouldn’t leave that hill.
Maya:
Raul shoved his own thong into her mouth to shut her up.
Pasiphae:
It started to rain. The god had made it rain.
Maya:
She peed herself.
Pasiphae:
She was God’s chosen one. She and no one else.
Maya:
Her ass was having involuntary spasms.
Pasiphae:
He filled her completely. She was one with the animal. She was so happy.
Maya:
Her face was red, sweaty. Her eyes were wet and closed, and still she had all her teeth showing. Smiling.
Raul was sitting at the small work table. He was eating lobster.
He and Maya were supposed to share it. This was supposed to be a romantic night.
He had planned everything. The dinner. The champagne. The candles he never lit. He had intended to confess his love. That he had loved her since the moment he saw her. That he didn’t care that she was married.
But Maya ruined everything. He had to punish her. And now he had to fix everything.
Raul put his fork down on the plate. The lobster was half eaten.
He stood up. Walked over to Maya. She was still on the bed. With the dildo all the way in. The headband had twisted a bit. He took the thong out of her mouth.
“Are you enjoying it?” he asked.
“A lot,” she said in a whimper. Her eyes didn’t see him. She didn’t seem able to focus her gaze on anything.
He went to the living room. Came back with an old coat rack. He put it in front of her.
He took a photo of Steven out of his pocket. It was from their wedding day. He had cut it so only his face showed. He had taken it from Maya’s social media. He put the photo on the coat rack.
“What if I told you someone wants to take you away from the bull?” he asked, not looking at Maya.
“NO,” she screamed.
“Yes,” Raul assured her. “And I’ll tell you a secret. He’s the reason you’ve been unhappy in all your lives. Why in all your lives you’ve been kept away from your David, your Tristan.”
“Why?” she asked, crying.
“Because he’s evil,” he whispered. “Just that.”
Maya felt a chill run down her spine.
“What if I told you you can change your destiny?” he whispered in her ear.
“How?”
“By understanding his traps. His deceptions.”
“Which ones?”
“Confusion. He’ll always make you think you’re confused. He tells you things that sound logical on the surface. Things like you loved him, that you married him for love. But that’s always a lie. You married him because you thought you didn’t deserve anything better. You married him out of fear of being alone.”
Maya stayed silent. She was thinking. Her ass had slight spasms.
“Do you want to change your destiny?”
“Yes.”
“Open your eyes.”
She did.
“Where are you?”
“On the hill, in Crete.”
“What are you doing?”
“I’m making love.”
“Do you like it?”
“I love it.”
“Look at the horizon. What do you see?”
“I don’t know.”
“There’s a man. Look closely. Do you see him?”
“He’s your husband. The cruel King Stevon. He’s screaming at you to leave the bull. What will you do?”
“I won’t.”
“Why not?”
“Because I love him.”
“More than Stevon?”
Maya didn’t answer.
“, he confuses you. He makes you think you love him.”
“He confuses me.”
“Do you love the bull more than Stevon?”
“Yes...”
“Say it to his face.”
“I love the bull more than you,” she said to the coat rack.
“Say it again.”
“I love the bull more.”
“Again.”
“I love the bull more.”
“You love his penis.”
“I love his penis.”
“Stevon’s doesn’t satisfy you.”
“He doesn’t satisfy me.”
“He never has.”
“Never.”
She peed herself again. Raul would have to pay for that mattress, but it would be worth it.
Someone was knocking at the door.
Maya sat up slowly. The pain in her crotch was immediate, sharp, like someone had been sticking needles inside her all night.
She brought a hand to her stomach and groaned softly. The clothes she was wearing were from the day before.
There was an empty wine bottle in the hotel trash can. She didn’t seeing it the night before. She didn’t many things.
“Coming,” she said, her voice hoarse.
She stood up with effort. Her legs were shaking. She walked to the door with her legs apart.
She opened it.
“Good morning,” Raul said. He was carrying a breakfast tray. Coffee, bread, jam. He had a wide smile. “Sleep well?”
He walked into the room without waiting for an invitation.
Maya closed the door slowly.
“Well, I... I think so,” she said, rubbing her eyes. “I thought you were taking me home.”
“I was going to,” Raul said, setting the tray on the table. “But then this complimentary bottle showed up,” he nodded toward the empty bottle in the trash can, “and I guess we both thought it’d be a waste not to take advantage of it. And well, I’ve never been one to drink and drive.”
Maya blinked. Looked at the bottle. Then the bed.
“We?” she asked, tilting her chin toward the bed. “We...?”
Raul laughed.
“Oh no. Wow, I think you did have a bit too much. I slept in the room next door.”
“I think so,” Maya said, laughing nervously.
“Why did you think we did?” Raul asked.
Maya felt the heat rise up her neck.
“My ass hurts,” she said, the word slipping out before she could think. “And you can tell you’ve got a monster in your pants.”
She covered her mouth with both hands.
“God, I didn’t mean to say that.”
Raul laughed out loud.
“It’s normal,” he said. “Have you ever been on a motorcycle?”
“No.”
“That’s it. It happens a lot. The muscles aren’t used to the position. It hurts the next day.”
“Yeah,” Maya said, her voice sounding relieved. “Must be that.”
Raul looked at her softly.
“If you want, we can leave right now,” he offered. “Or you can have breakfast. No rush.”
“Yeah... Can you give me a minute?” she pleaded. “I need to use the bathroom.”
“Of course.”
Maya walked fast. She closed the bathroom door. Locked it.
She leaned against the door. Took a deep breath.
She turned on the cold water.
She looked at herself in the mirror.
“Why the hell did you say that?” she accused herself quietly.
She splashed water on her face. The cold made her shiver.
“Well, but it’s obvious... damn.”
More water. The water ran down her chin, down her neck, soaking the edge of her blouse.
“No, no, no, no, no.”
Water. More water.
“Damn, damn, damn.”
Her face was red.
“Come on,” she said, breathing. “No, no.”
She started unbuttoning her shirt with clumsy fingers.
She splashed water on her neck. On her shoulders. On her breasts.
She unbuttoned her pants. The water hit her crotch. The cold made her shiver. She splashed more. Her thong was soaked. Heavy. Stuck to her skin.
She leaned against the bathroom wall. She was exhaling hard. Panting.
“You okay?” Raul asked from the other side of the door.
“I-I’m fine,” she said, trembling.
She walked to the shower with clumsy steps. She turned it on. The water hit her back, soaking all her clothes. Her blouse, her skirt, her thong.
“Are you showering?” Raul asked.
Maya didn’t answer. She was curled up, arms crossed over her chest.
Her legs were giving out. She covered her face with her hands and started scrubbing. Water and water and water.
“Maya?” Raul asked again.
Her breathing hitched when she heard his voice.
“Maya?”
Her chest was rising and falling frantically.
“Maya?” he insisted, louder.
She was trying to gulp down air and then letting it out. She couldn’t think.
“Maya, answer.”
She couldn’t take it anymore.
There was a click as the lock was turned.
Maya’s silhouette stood still behind the door. One second. Two. Her hand was on the handle.
And then, the door opened.
Maya was naked. Her clothes lay at the bottom of the shower. The water was still falling.
Her chest rose and fell, panting. Her nipples were erect, hard against the cold bathroom air.
She was still soaked. Water ran through her hair, down her face, down her breasts.
She said nothing. Just stared at Raul intensely.
Her vulva was swollen and red.
And if Raul could have seen below her legs, he would have noticed that her vagina was opening and closing. Opening and closing.
Raul walked closer. She started pulling in air harder. She didn’t move.
“I guess you don’t want breakfast.”
She shook her head.
Then she turned around. Without a word. Walked straight to the bed.
She climbed on slowly. Her legs were shaking. She knelt, rested her elbows on the mattress, and buried her face in the sheets.
Her ass was raised high. She spread her knees slightly. From her vulva, a transparent thread dripped down to the sheet.
It looked like a fountain someone had forgotten to turn off.
Raul smiled. He got on the bed and pulled down his pants.
“Are you sure?” he asked.
But she didn’t answer.
When Maya felt the tip of his penis brushing against her, she started exhaling through her nose. But she didn’t move.
Raul placed a hand on her hip. She trembled. Her skin was covered in goosebumps.
When he finally entered, there was no resistance from Maya’s body. It slipped in. Inside it burned.
Maya didn’t moan. She just breathed through her mouth. Big gulps of air.
Raul thrust in and she just kept sucking in air.
Maya felt him settle over her back, how her ass and his lined up. How he started thrusting faster.
Her belly started tightening from the inside. It wasn’t painful. It was a pressure that kept growing and growing. Until it broke.
A hot jet shot out from her crotch. It spilled onto the bed, onto the sheets, onto Raul.
It took a minute to get it all out. A minute where, for the first time, Maya allowed herself to scream. She let it all out. All the frustration. All the confusion. But above all, all the desire. Desire for Raul.
When it was over, her body was still spasming.
Raul pulled out slowly. He had also come inside Maya. She didn’t seem to care.
In the bathroom, in the pants Maya had left on the shower floor, her phone vibrated. It was Steven. For the fiftieth time.
